I'm way too afraid to annul this. How do I go about it without bricking it?
Just have to pray it doesn't hit one of the ones you care about.
If you want to maximize your odds you can quality it with 20 intrinsic catalyst (attribute quality) which will decrease the chances of annulling off your +1 int gems. But there's still a pretty good chance it will brick before you hit the 2 annuls to multimod.
Seriously? So I might just flat out lose 6 exalts?
I really love this build but now I am in T10 maps and dying sometimes, this is not acceptable (not til I hit 90 anyways lol).
If you guys that are have experience with this build pleas check out my PoB export and tell me where I can improve. I already know I need a new amulet. I have about 20ex more I can spend.
Thanks for the help!!

Fun game.
Well yea... same as you can double corrupt a 6l hyrri on the altar and get a mirror tier combo of corruptions or you can poof the item completely. RNG is RNG.

I've been lurking in the thread for some time just reading and somewhere it was said that, "if you're going to half-ass this build, you wont have a great time" or something along those lines, I took that to heart since that generally has been my flaw.
The reply was targeted at people who expect to steamroll endgame in a gear that can steamroll white maps, a lot of those who got frustrated didn't stick to content they can comfortably farm but rushed into most difficult content and then got upset when they die a lot and don't have enough dps to kill important mobs (map bosses, delirium rares etc.) And a lot of changes in 3.9 when the new altas was implemented had the goal to severely limit the possibility of clearing everything in 50c worth of gear (because people were getting bored and quitting after 1 week).

I really am trying to upgrade but I suppose I dont really understand the importance of certain mods, clerspeed is more than perfect, single target is doable but could be better, so I'm wondering, I'm lacking the "chaos damage over time multiplier" on gloves, bow and amulet, is that the secret ingridient to up the single target?
I've gathered that "multiplier" is something else than just "increased chaos damage" but not quite sure I understand 100% sadly.
Increased damage (chaos, spell, over time etc.) is 1 bucket of mods and multiplier (chaos / damage over time) is another bucket of mods and if I understand it correctly, mods within the same bucket are additive to each other, but multiplicative with another bucket. So you want a good balance of both. It used to be that multiplier mods were very scarce while increased damage was very common, which made multiplier always highly desirable. Recently there are more sources of multiplier mod so it's more about striking the balance or getting them where there's 0 negative tradeoff (for example bow prefix).
The tooltip in green borders is the breakdown from your character import in POB, it says 1.84 multiplier but unfortunately I can't find a detailed breakdown, the other mods I can mouse over total increased (+ chaos column) and it says all the sources of increased damage, but multiplier, I'm lost.
If that number is correct, then you'd have 3.45 ratio of increased to multiplier so then 10% multiplier would be similar value to 35% increased, better value per point but not gamebreaking amount.
From what I know, you can get decent single target damage if you can stand still and channel blight into mob's face, but if you have to dodge a lot it will take time to kill them.

Did you check the stuff I replied you previous page second post from top?
Can put it up again:

@SimplPrimate change flasks to what's suggested in the guide, yours are awful and a lot of death prevention comes from having proper flasks and using them, mana flasks on EB spec are mega worthless
also buy at least lvl 20 essence drain, if not lvl 21 (how do you have empower 4 before that beats me, should be cheaper the other way around)
that topaz ring is quite meh, is that just to fill strength requirements?
amulet lacks anointment
and if you use unset ring you should put flame dash in it and flesh & stone in helmet so it benefits from enlighten

What for Culling strike on gloves. He does not work with DoT damage?
Yes you have to hit the boss sub 10% with flame dash or new application of essence drain to proc culling.

Sorry didn't realize Shavs was for low life, still fairly new when it comes to understanding builds.
Shavs doesn't have good stats, the only defining property is "chaos damage does not bypass energy shield" which is necessary for builds that are not chaos inoculation (not immune to chaos) but still rely on energy shield instead of life to survive.
Low life does that so they can reserve life for auras, protect themselves with energy shield, and use "pain attunement" for more spell damage due to always being low on life because it's reserved.
This build doesn't use pain attunement, it transforms it into wind dancer with brutal restraint jewel, and uses life and eldritch battery (basically ES is your mana pool now).
Hyrri is used due to high evasion and dodge it provides. You could use a rare chestpiece with a lot of evasion, energy shield, life and dodge (I've seen people who crafted that in here), but it's harder to craft a really good one.

Thanks I completely forgot about flasks, I am really bad about that. I am waiting to find an amulet that I like that has endurance charge then I will anoint it, I got 3 gold oils the other day to do it with.
The ring I will take a look at. The only reason I put flesh and stone in the ring is my helm was already colored, and I have enough to do all my buffs anyways so I didnt think it would matter.
I still can't figure out why I have such low health, with all the expensive shit I have I figured I should be at least breaking 5k. I kinda feel a bit like a glass cannon at the moment, and it's taking me forever to get to lvl 90 :P

That answers a lot of questions I had, much appreciated!
