[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri

I like this build layout. Havent honestly ever played a summoner, but want to try it out, loks fun. And I think I have a perfect helm for my spectre. If I am wrong please feel free to let me kno

What if I am running a hybrid of TV's and SG's?
Then chances are, you are relying on the SG's for clear and the TVs for bosses. You likely don't need the extra buffs for clear, most mobs die instantly with or without a guardian, to take the setup for your TVs to use on bosses.

It depends, but there is a LOT of flexibility when it comes to cursing.

I'm currently using Projectile Weakness with Solar Guards. The goto damage curse for TVs is Elemental Weakness. Flammability and Despair both work as well.

If you need defensive curses, Temporal Chains is nice, and so is poacher's mark.

Bottom line though - as long as you pick one of the curses that works, it'll be fine. Go with the effect that you like. This is why I'm running Proj. Weakness, even tho it doesn't have the max damage buff - I like the pushback and the pierce side effects.

yu guys see anything i should focus on? The low life rolls maybe but these kind of things cost an arms in hc. 6.3k life/2k mana /1k es.. running with rumi/2life flask/1mana+quicksilver. Cause im farming some shaped strand +fullsextant


You can go with the route that I took and go with an Anvil. I got lucky and corrupted mine for +2 curse, but you can also get a corrupted +2-4 block. With an Anvil and spell block shield I sit at 77/71 block.I also took a couple of block nodes near the Marauder area. But overall I like my deviation more because pretty much every stat from the Anvil is nice for us.

Agreed. I didn't take EE until much later in my leveling. Not that it makes a huge difference after you get spectres, mobs just start to evaporate as soon as you approach anyway. :)

For solar Guard spectres, can animated guardian use a 2 handed staff and shield at the same time?
No. There are some relaxed restriction, like the fact that you can run chest armour and the bringer of rain helm at the same time, however, you don't get three arms. ;)

I've seen quite a bit of debate about helmet affixes affecting spectres or not, so I'm not certain if that burning damage affix is going to help.

Flammability and Elemental weakness work with both spectre types.

Why run both Bone and Flesh Offering? Only 1 can be active at a time. Seems like a waste of socket in a socket starved build.

Run flesh through the map, and switch to bone for the boss, or if you run into a tough mob.

Quite a few folks run Flesh all the time, and CWDT / Desecrate / Bone Offering to automatically switch when they get hit hard.

Its far far away from perfect.

First, that lab enchant is weaksauce at best, FG's buff only effects you, and you deal around 1% damage on any encounter.

then lvl 16s are the lowest tier u can roll.

and immolate is a shitty support, dont benefit spectres, only tiny bit for FG.

no resis of any kind...

Accuracy and increased light...enough jokes already.

Seriously tho, I sell them for 1-2c for too many times i can remember. a "perfect" summoner helm would cost you around 200ex+++

Ideal mods are:
ilvl 83+ bone helm with 40% damage
lvl20 burning damage
lvl20 minion damage
lvl20 minion hp (can be optional, but a huge boost for all minions)
70+ life/mana
2-3 resis mods of 40%+
