WAIT, you mean your end game gear, the very final thing you buy in the game, will be expensive?!? WahwahwahWOW.

They are also planning on tweaking volatiles. All these changes are fair, even without beta testing. But remember, THESE WILL ALL BE BETA TESTED. The only thing I don't like about these changes is the way in which they announced them, they should have done the following:

-Frequently say these are not final changes and will be tested in the beta (they said it at least once but people are stupid).

-Post alongside of it the reminder that 3.0 will also add the Pantheon system, adding insane defensive boosts to the player (again people are stupid and completely forgot about the defensive buffs we are getting that will counteract the nerfs to ES).

-Make some comment about the changes to reflect and volatiles that ZiggyD confirmed they are working on and Rory has said they are planned for 3.0
What about changes to life totals in Witch, Shadow and Ranger areas? It is a struggle to get meaningful amounts. Even with the scion life wheel the life totals available is low.

Where is the life regen on the right side of the tree? Without life regen on the right side of the tree there is no reason for any life build there to not get vaal pact.

There is a very small buff to life, via crafting mods, but not enough IMO. Even a 1-2% buff to some (or all) life nodes would go a long way.


Where did you see that? My interpretation is that that prefix which adds life can't be crafted together with the +life prefix if it is already on that item

All armour will have a new Prefix modifier that can be rolled that increases flat defences (Armour, Evasion, or Energy Shield) and grants a small value of added maximum Life.
18 to 23 Life and +14 to 20 Armour/Evasion Rating OR +8 to 10 Energy Shield
24 to 28 Life and +21 to 42 Armour/Evasion Rating OR +11 to 15 Energy Shield
29 to 33 Life and +43 to 95 Armour/Evasion Rating OR +16 to 25 Energy Shield (Not on Gloves and Shields)
34 to 38 Life and +96 to 120 Armour/Evasion Rating OR +26 to 30 Energy Shield (Only on Body Armour)

this stacks with rolled HP. Your welcome.

So will the rings that already have the crafted es mod on them stay in the game or will they lose that mod once the up date goes live.
You know you`ve fucked up if there is 115 pages of replies in a Thread after only 12 hours!

I also have some balance changes..I will cut down my expenses of MTX`s by roughly 33%.

Hahaha, if you can't play the game with 10k ES (15k will still be possible), get good scrub. Also I think the original rebuttal was that you said "dont buff life" which they clearly did in the manifesto. So that you completely missed. Also, the killing gods in 3.0 gives us the Pantheon system which greatly buffs our defenses. Lastly, none of this is finalized, it will be BETA TESTED (which I guess you also missed since you didn't read the first two sentences of the manifesto).
I like the changes.

And regarding the "bad" oneshots. Well yeah you CAN get oneshotted, but only if you Facetank. All big hits are either telegraphed OR can be read under the Name of the Boss. Oh and you cannot simply outdps Reflect? Reroll the Map or skip the Map.

This game is NOT meant to steamroll everything and facetank everything.

To the people crying with about 10k ES. You are NOT wearing High Tier ES-Rolls so it will not hit you very much. Yeah the Vaal Pact will hit you.

To all others: You do not know what Uniques will come, maybe there will be something like "Half of your leech will be applied instantly" or " Life leech will apply instantly on Low life" or something like that?

No shadow or witch can do much without ES, its their primary defence.
