GGG not nerf, just destroy. I remember when pizzablast was opieop and what GGG do? Ruined it. One year later, they realized that they just killed the skill and make some changes. Chris, you don't want to hire new employees? |

Great changes GGG long time coming! Now all these es noob players have to get good and play some real builds. Anyone could face roll content with 10-20k es pools I've seen many supposed "good players" get scraped alot playin life chars but when they play 10k es+ they never die. All es did before was make garbage players look good personally I have 18 or 19 x 100 characters that was done all on life builds plus doin all content with non meta builds it wasn't even hard.

" My understanding is that it will be harder to stack ES to such high degree, but will be still possible to maintain rather sizeable ES pool. I like these changes, but I think there's still a big problem with ES and I'm not sure exactly the way they can address it. This is because this problem is an extension of the core "problem" in POE overall. Right now, and conceivably after these changes as well, you are strongly incentivized to pick life or ES and go all-in on it. ES is a nearly pointless stat AS ES. You either use it as your health pool(CI or LL), or it's completely irrelevant. Nobody takes Melding for melding. They either ignore half of what it gives or use an Energy From Within.
Shadow and Templar specifically were designed with the idea of using both health and ES as defensive tools. But (almost) nobody does. They pick one, use effectively only that, and completely ignore the other. Because the things allowing you to use ES as a relevant stat(Ghost Reaver and Zealots Oath) stop health from being a relevant stat. Whether you're based around leech or regen you can only have it impact health or ES, which cuts off the legs of the other in a practical sense. |
