Hi, no not really I updated the skill gem section and switch "added lightning damage" into it instead.

Currently Lv90 and annihilated red elder today.

Build is not particularly cheap or anything but league has only been out for less than a week and I've already got my core build. Only major thing left is 6L shavs.

A few notes:

1) I found a way to run 5 auras / mana reserves which is awesome. I run Wrath (for damage + additional BV conversion on watcher's eye), Herald of Ice, Herald of Thunder, Arctic Armor, and Discipline. I am able to do this by linking Discipline and Arctic Armor with Blood Magic gem. Blood magic MUST be Lv21 and 20% quality for this to work, as without it you are left with 0% life reserved vs. 1% life reserved. Or, you can use 2 points to pick up another 4% mana reserve node until you get the Lv21 BM.

2) I am still not 100% sure on BV links but will test more when I grab the 6L. I have spell echo on it now which is probably no longer necessary.

3) I am specc'd a little more heavily into damage atm but could just as easily spec into higher ES as well. Currently at 7.6k ES with the build and can easily hit 8.5 - 9k with proper skill point distribution. For example, I haven't taken the "Melding" ring, which with Energy from Within is +40% ES straight up.

4) I have 2 points into 2 20% spell crit nodes which I will probably respec into something more important as I get more points.

5) Stun immunity is ********** amazing!


So far, I am super happy with the build. My gear is nowhere near optimized yet either which means it will only get stronger. You can see my helm is only 200 ES which is extremely low, for example.

So since you have low life is the damage being taken from your mana instead?

Also what ascendancies did you take? There aren't any on that PoB link.

Would this be beneficial for this build?

So are we using bv in a 6 link and spark in a 4 link? I thought this was a spark build not a bv build lol. I guess both work but won’t our spark be underpowered?

Spark is a 6L in Shaper gloves.

My version does not use MoM. It is fully centered around ES. With the Pious Path ascendancy + Zealot's oath, we gain a total of 12% ES regen / sec while on consecrated ground on top of our normal regen. With warlord's mark ring + essence reaver, damage we deal is leeched to ES.

When I first started following the guide, I also had this concern. The reality, though, is that Spark on a Pseudo 5L is more than enough to clear maps easily. The challenge of spark builds is the single target boss killing capability, and that is why we put BV -- our boss killer -- on a 6L. I sorta wish we didn't have to use BV because I enjoy spark much more, but there is absolutely no comparison between the single target dmg between spark and BV.


You can try to use spark on a 6L and BV on a pseudo 5L, but it doesn't really make much sense when spark already does its job on a pseudo 5L.

I need feedback on this guide because there are things that i'm kinda unsure of.

1.Can I just stick with these items or change out CoB ? That would mean I have to do HoT+ Wrath instead of HoI+AA.

2.Does my current gear do more burst damage due to CoB or will I have further burst damage from pure lightning damage due to procs from Inpulsa?

3. How does the author stack HoT+Wrath+Haste when the mana reserves are insufficient?

Sidenote: My skill tree follows the build completely and jesussssssssssssss Watcher's eye with those stats do 1ex now -.-

1. yes you can stick with cotb... I guess it gives you a bit better clearspeed in combination wit HoI
2. Yes I think you get a bit more dps with wrath & HoT
3. it is vaal haste... so no mana reservation
