Thank you very much for the Guide for a new player its very hard to find Guides that are detailed like this one thanks for that ! I would like to know on what would be a good Item + Gem (RECOMMENDATIONS) Setup to farm the currency for the Anima Stone ?

The build has been great fun tho! im doing elementalist with 2 clayshapers, leveling has been a absolute breeze, Thanks for the guide

Hey :)

Build is pretty much opposite to SSF and HC builds. It relies heavily on traded gear and is balanced between damage and survival, not just survival.

I'm guessing you havent leveled build very far or might have not understood all mechanics like curse choices.

For your points :

- Elemental Weak and Flamma give almost same base ele res debuff. However Ele Weak scales with Quality and that way with Enhance extremely good compared to Flamma. 32% extra quality gives -8% to ele resists, which cant be squeezed out of Flamma.

- Temp Chain in Blasphemy keep safe agains off-screen charging enemies like Goat-men. Even pack of them lunging at you stops mid air when TC is at max -75%

- Once I have maxed Chaos res with 2500 HP, I cant rememer dying to chaos damage even once. The endgame chaos damage is very low atm and I would not recommend CI for chaos immunity over 2500 extra EHP.

- I leveled last league till lvl 92 and up to t15 maps with few ex worth of gear. Specters are good enough to carry up to T13 easily and Flame Golems can be added when enough currency is collected. It's not like league has to be started with full set of Primordial jewels.

- Prices for build items drop very fast in first weeks of league. Last league 2r2g2b Skin of the Loyal costed 20c after 1 week. I even maxed my chaos res and huge EHP with 5c rings and ammys, so Chayula is BIS, not required.

Hope you didn't die in HC using the build as it's not really ment tp played there. If you find good version of Golems with Elementalist that lives long in HC, please send it here so other HC players mey play Golems there also ;)


1) I might of been bit too agressive, but I see ur a nice person, so Im sorry for that, didnt wanted to offend you.

2) No, I didnt die on HC, well I did, but it was cyclone on t10 elder :D

3) Temp chains is okay for blasphemy, elemental weakness is 100% not. Ele weakness should be chained with orb of storms curse on hit. (I still would use flammability tho)

4) 2k hp 7k es is not "tanky". Rly it isnt tanky. Better option would be lowlife with shavronnes, but its probs ruins ur idea for skin of the loyal usage.

5) I personally hate items like skin of the loyal.
at moment 3 blue sox + 3 random colors is 200c.

6) Primorial gems are hella not cheap.

7) Its spectres that carry ur build, not golems as necromancer.

Thats just mine opinion, and once again, I have nothing personal agains you. Have a nice day.


Also forgot, animate guardian, try 2x dyadus, 200% burning dmg on bosses is alot more usefull than slow aura.

I just clean maps as fast for as cheap as I can usually. I run full DPS all the time and :
- alch below T11 maps
- 2 chis + alch T12
- 2 chis + alch T13 + vaal
- 4 chis + alch over T14 + vaal

Speed has been better than stacking quantity for me, but I'm no expert in MF. Vaaling maps usually adds very hard mods to it, but also increases quantity nicely. Build can run all mods, so that usually makes for cheap boost to drops.

No offense taken at all, just glad to hear your reasons in more detail ^^

2) ok :)

3) I guess linking Ele Weak on curse on hit makes sense, as you don't want to get in blasphemy range to apply the curse yourself. Animae Guardian applies weaker version of Ele Weak, when char is outside of Blasphemy range for safety reasons.

Ele Weaks quality with enhance boosts both Golems and TV while Flamma boosts mostly TVs with buring damage from quality.

4) Yes, build is not tanky in the mean that you can just stand tanking boss hits forever. Physical damage from T16+ bosses can 1-shot it, but bosses manifest hits quite nicely for kiting. However 9k+ EHP (HP+ES) means that elemental damage or even larger groups of small physical hits can rarely kill char. Almost none of non-boss enemies can kill the build when it reaches max Temp Chain, 9k+ EHP and high block chance. For 99% of map mobs build is extremely tanky.

5) There is also 2r2g2b version of Sotl, that should cost around 20c after week of league start. Loses 20% total damage compared to better colors, but excellent league start armor. Better colors are very expensive and take long time to gather currency. They are boosts for damage, but not needed for build to function.

6) Primordials are very expensive. However no real Golem build can be done without them, so they are necessary evil to get. Specters are however excellent at carrying to high tier maps even without Primordial jewels.

7) Specrters are used to carry the build while collecting currency for Primordial jewels. Solar Guards are roughly equal to Flame Golems in moveset and damage, but when Golems reach higher levels, the difference becomes clearer.

Golems start to clean faster than SG specs, and TV specs deal lot more boss damage than SGs. Combining both means more damage than running just Specs with 2x TV, 2x SG mix or some other Spec mix. TV Specs are by no means carrying the build as their clear speed is absolutely horrible.

You had good points and I hope I got to give my equivalent to at least some of them. I wish you best of luck with whichever build you choose ;)

Hey and thanks for support ^^

You should really be using Enhance with curses instead of Enlighten. Enhance boosts both curses massively and you should be able to run 2x curses with enhance + Discipline with all mana reduction nodes from the tree taken. Take "Leadership" as soon as possible for mana reduction and huge curse areas boost.

Rathpith gives less EHP (HP+ES), but more spell block chance which can be helpful against some t16+ bosses.

With high tier ES items, Skin of the Loyal should give roughly 300-350 ES, so that might be upgrade to current armor as it also gives +1 level to both Flame Golem gem and Empower. Increased evasion is nice bonus also.

Changing helmet to pseudo 5-6 link would boost Specters damage nicely, but Vertex gives nice ES, chaos res and free +1 to curses + Enhance so both are good options.

T16+ bosses are pretty easy when you know how to read their moves, but very deadly while you have no experience with them. Try to check boss run videos for tips on how they manifest dangerous moves and after that you just need practice ;)

My question is, what items should i put into the animate guardian ? Can i get some defenses for it ? (for myself)

Mika, do you know - things like "global crit chance" and effects from power charges - affect golems? I mean stats on ME, which boost my global crit. I know about charges on golem via shield. Or things like "projectile speed" - they will work for golems too?

Btw i think alot of ppl asked u about this,but its hard to check all pages) : how much better is occultist instead of super buffed new elementalist? 2 more golems, 240% golems dmg, immunity to ailments.. Yeah,u got more shield with occultist, but 2 golems and 240% is HUGE buff.

It turns out GGG confirmed that you can shock everything with beacon of ruin as long as you do atleast 1 lightning damage. (and chill with cold etc).


In addition all ailment effects apply to the new base shock of 20% increased damage taken.
I am using something like this to enhance that effect:




With this settup my shocks reach a value of

29% shock effect of arc,
30% ailment effect of Unbound ailments
20% of beacon of ruin

15% of the Innervate hybrid mod on the helm ( can roll up to 20% on the highest tier)

94% total shock effect on a 20% base makes shocks now 38.8

Allmost 40% Increased damage taken, with about 55% chance to shock if the multi ailment/shock rotation effect is not active.


Quite the respective damage boost for elementalist golemancers.

Also experimenting with yoke of suffering now aswell.
Hard to say how much power it gives but its worth considering.

Hello, I have a question.
I always wanted to play as golemancer, but because of busy IRL I never have enough time to farm enough currency to buy all those amazing jewels. This league will probably be no different... So do you think it would be possible to play as golemancer only with dual clayshapers and elementalist nodes? Would it be possible to do at least low tier maps with it?

cool build but the jewels this league are ... immortal expensive ... if there is someone who's got one might or anima to much *hands up* xD

I'm even playing without the primordal might and anima, but if you try to catch most of the animated guardian gear with just two flamegolems it is still running ok in low tier maps i think.
