Utility Flasks for Ascendancy

Suddenly inquisitor and raider sound a lot more fun!
- Guys, our oneshot mechanics is too weak, players preventing deaths using resistance flasks. Thats wrong, they should die!
- Ok, lets nerf them, like 4% should be enough, right?
- *scary* But... but what about some builds depends on flasks? What about hardcore league?
- Shut up and nerf
I like these changes. Glad that there will be no legacy items.

Resistance Flasks have been reduced to +6% maximum resistance. (It's getting easier to dramatically increase maximum resistances, so this change is designed to partially counteract the new tools such as the Flask Effect mod and new Ascendancy options.)

RIP Utility Flasks... :'(

There goes my regen on my Goddess build, Ruby's were barely worth using over Health Flasks as it was, now they're completely pointless...
The Consecrated Ground Flask would be interesting... If you didn't already get it 24/7 from the Templar Class. <_<

Here I was hoping for a Flask Effect Ascendancy Class to further increase the paltry 10%, and instead they nerf it.. >_<

Resistance Flasks are now completely useless. GG GGG.

Great revision!:D
damnit my legacy mjolner build nerfed again! You guys are making it a challenge to keep it immortal to everything :P

flasks like taste of hate and rumi's have been breaking the game a long time. now with vinktar (which honestly has no drawback because you use it in tandem with shock immunity) and ascendancy, it will be interesting what challenges GGG will make for players. because with the above three flasks you are basically unkillable...and ascendancy only makes that abuse case more easy to keep up.

mjolner will adjust and live on!

This is cool but I feel the changes will mostly be swept under the rug by the community due to how overpowered unique flasks are. Taste of Hate, Rumi's Concoction and Vessel of Vinktar are incredibly broken, mostly because they have unique effects but still function like normal flasks, taking the spot of Granite, Sapphire and Topaz. Atziri's Promise is also borderline OP considering how easy it is to get, but the new Onslaught flask will add more options.

Just saying, considering nobody uses most utility flasks as it is, adding more could be a waste of time.

Totally agree with this.

According to this part (Existing Unique Flasks which don't have high usability have been improved where necessary to make sure they are still desirable choices. An example is Lion's Roar, which now has more than one use per full flask.)
I hope they rebalance some OP uniq flask too (and remove legacy as well).

They might add rare flasks (with those new mods) to the game so everybody would have more choices.
I would also add possibility to craft flask mods in HO (Master "Tatsuni" should be moved there to craft those).

Hype for new flasks!

Sssh the fanboybots might go sookie on us.
I'm not a fan of the changes because as per usual they favour those endowed with fast reaction times ahead of those who play strategically.
A good game is a balance between the two yet time and time again GGG have acceded to the demands of those who believe fast reaction should be the be all and end all of determining the best players, and so nerfs whatever skills and equipment the strategic players have invested time and energy into developing the best possible combination of, in order to beat the game.

Why?

We never see any handicaps placed upon the best fast reaction players in the same way that the best strategic players get slammed every damn 'update'.

Why not?

well... you is missing something. the fun part of being a unskilled strategic player its that you need to modificate your way to do things every patch on the game. yf you are really a strategic player, then your most fun is to plan new builds, "mechanisms", then puting in pratic, and fail lots of times until a reconfortant, hard to get, and enjoable win against the developer and its game meachanics.
i mean... the good part to play strategically is, every thime someone find a strategic way to be invemcible, they nerf it, then you need to find another one... cracking your had until you defeat the developers, that are trying to balance the game properly, creating something OP as hell is so much fun.

sorry bad inglish, br here.
