the unique flask(s) - esp the Vessel of Immortality flask just makes most other flasks redundant. and basing on recent Rory's interview - GGG doesnt see the issue at all.

and the best part "Pathfinder being broken af is ok, because you have to skillfully press flask keys.." explains what will 2.2 look like better than any manifesto

Have you played with it at all? It's not like instaleech to full hp from 1 attack makes you immortal, you die to oneshots most of the times anyway. Neither its impossible or even hard to achieve same effect w/o vinktar's.

or vaal pact with few leech nodes on tree

+resistance flask. hmm.. ok.. fine. but enduring cry gives 4% all res per charge and charges have longer duration AND higher utility. so who is going to use them?

And since when endurance charges give you +anything to max res? Even if flask is just + to all res its still useful for leveling and eleweak maps.

adding dodge to flasks means that armor/evasion as defense mechanics are continuously being moved into the 'increased stun recovery' status. all these supplementary defense mechanics (dodge/block/AA/EC etc + FLASKS) just dwarf what people using AR/EV are able to get. it is a very expensive way of saying that there is no idea what to do with AR/EV to make it functional WITHOUT these extra layers - when currently these layers work perfectly fine without AR/EV whatsoever

You can use one or another. Or both. Diversity, you know? Both armor and evasion are pretty damn strong atm.

you have to be aware that most ascendancy bonuses other classes get are just jokes compared to what Pathfider flask build will achieve with pretty much no investment?

Yeah, aegis bone offering witch surely looks like a joke, just like crit cap on 5% crit skill with assassin. Oh, forgot about 90% sweet free crit multi.
Hide your pitchfork man, patch is not even out yet.

out of all released ascendancy trees only the pathfinder and assasin are good as in 'way above the rest'. the offering witch passive wont make it into the release as it is just gamebreaking. comparing it to berserk (even ggg's own video about it is boring and the lector cannot make these fluff bonusses sound interesting) clearly shows that the classes were created by different guys and merged by a guy who cannot dettach his prefferences from game balance (crit ranged master race)

as for the Vessel of Immortality ofc ive used it and since then havent used my life flask on that character. it is a direct replacement of insta heal flasks but better in every way. and no, you do not die to literal one shots. these are seldom when over 5k hp. you get burst down quickly and this is where Vessel shines.

btw.. atziris gloves (crit only 50ex item) vs all-builds 2ex flask? i do not know. and how is your VP marauder or templar going?

with ar/ev the situation is very simple - you need to use supplementary defenses with ar/ev. but you do not need ar/ev after stacking enough supplementary layers. and when these supplementary layers can be maxed via flasks that have pretty much perma uptime.. well.. why bother with abything else?

people wondering why im so curious about this issue - just check lates Rory's interviews when he clearly states that Vessel is not a problem because their excel data does not show abnormal usage. so when lots of noobs pick berserk the melee players are as good as doomed because 'the stats show normal usage' will prevent any fixes to melee underdogs.

R.I.P. resistance flasks you shall forever be remembered. Nerf this nerf that when it will ever stop, clown fiesta.
The Hype is real!!!!!!!!!!!
From Hunter and Gatherer,
to Role-Playing Games
Im not even using resistance flasks now. RIP indeed I guess.

How strong will be the Basalt Flask compared to the Granite one?

If it's something like 10-12% (~3 endurance charges) a granite becomes useless in higher level maps - if it is something like 6-8% it will depend on your build.

Hope GGG don't "force" us to use a Basalt flask on every single build out there because it is too good.

Oh there is another thing: Quicksilvers won't be used that often anymore since there will be Silver flasks. (Duration/Surgeons) Silver flasks of Adrenaline = 50% movement speed during flask effect

Please don't remind me. Zeno nearly keeled over on the spot when he heard his comments on controlled destruction and, honestly, I probably wasn't feeling much better (even if my face wasn't quite so ruddy, I think he was close to popping a vessel there).
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Resistance Flasks have been reduced to +6% maximum resistance. (It's getting easier to dramatically increase maximum resistances, so this change is designed to partially counteract the

Dont understand this comment.Just since I been here - almost 2 years now - Y'all removed elemental adaptation 2% max res, removed inner forces which could buff a purity by +1%, removed diamond skin +1%, nerfed saffels by 1. If anything it's getting harder not easier?

My biggest concern about this change in particular is now it looks like ill have to wait till lvl 80+ to start running RF... And now RF builds will be required to run Rubys and Life Flasks even at Endgame which kinda makes RF almost pointless to invest in at this point. IDK well see im sure theres going to be so many changes that alot of shit like RF will die out.
There is a fine line between Consideration and Hesitation.
The former is Wisdom, the latter is Fear.
