I didn't insult anyone as far as I can see. You calling me "forum police" could easily be considered an insult, though.

The person I was quoting didn't just say that it was "pricey". Of course it's expensive, that's the whole point. He was implying that it's somehow morally wrong to make it that expensive, which I disagree with.

I kinda agree with OP. BTW where did all the bashing come from? When you compare the lesser pets with the scorpion it's not really that big difference. Sure, people buy exclusivity but still, it doesn't seem amazing enough to me. If it was really strictly about exclusivity they could as well make $90 red dot, right? All the arguments about value and donations or 'don't buy it' are true but they are completely different issue than OP is showing us. Compare the lesser pets with the inferno, acid and lightning scorpions - those are the right scale to look at, not some Ferrari, homeless kid or breast cancer... And this is a matter of opinion. You've just read mine :)

I like that the difference between the lower priced and the high priced scorpions isn't that big. I feel it gives people that want to buy an exclusive item exactly that, while everyone else can still get a nice item at a more reasonable price without feeling vastly "inferior" (if you are that kind of guy). In the end it is a matter of opinion.

I'm more satisfied with my kiwi, anyway.

i dont really have problems with the prices, pets arent that huge a thing. but i never get the reasoning behind some of the pricing. i mean personally, i dont get why the fire one is so cheap compared to lightning. it literally makes no difference to me, its just weird lol. did the lightning take more effort to make or is it just a random thing?
