I used 80 alt orb so get the 3% block on a corrugated buckler and I didn't get it. I think I'll just go ahead and delete the game now...

So I think its time to throw in the towel on Glacial Hammer...
I got to about 3k damage on a 5L and I can't really see a way of getting it much higher. You basically have to use elemental proliferation and melee splash if you want stuff to freeze and that extra mana cost prevents you from using determination and that evasion aura. I'm at 4k damage with a 4L using Heavy Strike and melee splash (i've been filling that extra blue slot with item rarity) I also dont have to use clarity + blood magic anymore That said; I've managed to get my resists basically capped (68,69,75), my life is only like 2300, my armor is 6361 and my evasion is at 5290 with auras. I'm only level 66 so I've got a few more block nodes I need to grab because thats not capped yet. I just dont really know what to upgrade at this point! I'll link my gear in hopes of getting some advice. I really dunno what I need at this point.

Got to make vid on this map But dont have chisels and chaos orbs for a good roll =), But i almost got mysalf killed in 73 lvl map, and that you will be able to see somewhere around tomorrow PS sorry for my bad english. ign Bester, Godlymen, boomwiz, in game from 10pm till 1am most of the time (GMT).

" Hello SokumeMoFe. :) Yes, crafting is fickle. I believe there was a fellow giving away some basic shields a number of pages ago in this thread, perhaps he still has them. If you play standard, there is also a fellow giving away Crest of Perandus here. If you are strictly self found as I am, my sympathies, been there, done that. | |

Well I'm Sokumemofe on another account. After I got mad on that, I bought a crest for 4 chaos, and I was lvl 46 so it was retarded, but whatever. Maybe I'll be luckier and get some good drops from now to compensate it.

" Higher level and quality gems on your main attack skill. You can vendor 40% quality total at a time of the quality gems you find that you don't need to get GCP to feed into your attack skill gems, or trade your other types of currencies with other players for GCP, or outright buy quality gems. Also, faster attacks rather than item rarity. You may only be able to run one aura with the splash as it's a mana hog unless you are surrounded, then it seems to do better. You could run a 4-link for single targets and just use the 5L with splash for when you are surrounded for more efficient use of mana and better damage on singles/bosses. You also need a higher level reduced mana for your auras. Don't bother with quality here, it's a waste on this particular gem. There's no reason you can't chrome that helm and 4-link it (very easy now) and get an enfeeble on the CwDT combo there (quality if possible). But, a better helm altogether would be a good idea first (more life). Or Bringer of Rain if you can afford one, but then you would have to make up the resists elsewhere, such as on gloves and rings. You can 4-link the boots and stick another enduring cry in there in series before the CwDT. Not likely to get an upgrade. A few ideas for ya! | |

" I've been waiting on forking out the money to get some quality gems because I wasn't sure if I should continue with GH or not. Since I'm going to probably stick with Heavy strike I'll probably hunt down a quality gem. I wasn't sure which supports I should get quality first. Probably faster attacks because multistrike is going to be damn expensive! The only reason I'm using item rarity is because I've been so reluctant to switch over from glacial hammer. When that blue slots gone so will elemental prolif and GH forever :( I'm planning on 4L'ing the last couple pieces I have but i've just been lazy with finding fusings lol I would love a bringer of rain but I am unfortunately about 10 ex shy! I think i'm going to start trying to chancing one just for kicks I feel like my enduring cry/ molten shell NEVER go off! It kinda sucks =/ I think i'm going to hunt around for a helm to finish capping my resists and getting some more life. You think my armor is ok? |
