How does this defensive set up work? CWDT+Increased Duration+Immortal Call+Vaal haste.

How does Immortal Call even cast when we have no endurance charges? (theres is no enduring cry)

You can cast IC even without charges but the duration is shorter. From wiki: "Base Duration is 0.40 seconds". This duration is with no charges on you. Any charge on top of taht icreased thi base duration by x%.

It is short but still worth it.

Anyway, while it is not comfortable it is usually wise to use enduring cry manually but myself I do not do that.

One thing about Frenzy-FA-CoH-Assassins mark I don't understand is why do you need CoH-AM there? You can't curse large packs with it, only single targets, so why not just use CoH-AM with something like Split shot-chain and leave Frenzy-FA to just get Frenzy charges. Can someone explain?

Sure can explain :)
You only aim to use this curse setup for bosses. Or at least, that is the main idea. Other than that, you will be insta killing anything you meet, so no need for curses there.
If you aim to curse whole packs, try something like split arrow +COH +AM + pierce? Just a guess, not using this myself as it is a waste of time generally speaking.

Just got a 6L Lioneye's Vision and had some luck with the colours. Gave it a try with drillneck and it provided a nice damage-boost (+30k to 128k) but i lost a good amount of Evasion (and the Armour of the Lioneye's is halfed),life (~200) and had to grab 2 extra strengh-nodes on the tree. Still thinking if it's a good trade ...

Has anyone tried it already? Can't find any crit-based Lioneye's + Drillneck builds.
Or did anybody took Iron Reflexes for damage-reduction (and dropping the points on Acrobatics)?

Interesting armor, didn't even know that exists.
Though I doubt it is worth it. Evasion and dodge are too worthy for archer to give up on.
Although I remember one guy playing IR reflexes phys dmg archer, he used to have vaal pact though and high leech, that would be a must!
I have been playing this build and im just inlove with it. I always wanted to get into the game. But not knowing enough always scared me off it. But now i decided to rly give it a shot and im learning all the time. I have been abit lucky with some drops so i have been able to get ok gear and im at the point where im not quite sure what to change and work on. Anyone that would not mind taking a look at my char and give a few tips. Built a solid map base of tier 10. And my biggest struggle is that i just dont feel tanky enough. Would love any feedback :3
hey guys, just didn't played this game for like 2 or 3 months.

back these days, i've played this build.
now i got a full reskill.

is this build still viable with its guide ?

cuz i can imagine they've changed some skills, otherwise i wouldnt get a full respec.

Thanks in advance

There are a few outdated items, but the majority of what's listed is 2.2 viable. Neversink has updated the important stuff with 2.2 changes.
hey there

im leveling as TS right and want to switch to LA later on. Which ascendancy path do you suggest for LA ?

Furthermore in the trees the spirit void cluster and the lifeleech cluster nearby is not taken. Arent these mandatory for running bloodrage smoothly ?

Sry for stupid questions but there are still a few things unclear to me,
Hello. I am following the normal build for TS and I got a Drillneck recently. I saw the skill tree changes, but I was wanting to ask what other major changes are needed from the normal guide.

I have a 5L armor, nothing too high gear wise.

Is LowGear/SC/AnySkill - Chain Deadeye still he route to go? Will chain work ok with pierce?

Are there better secondary skill options when using drillneck?
Hey guys!

I would claim myself as beginner, though i have played this game quite a lot (bit by bit).

I wanted to play this build, because i wanted to be able to run high tier maps and run atziri (never did her before, even on normal mode).

This build is quite fun! But I have seen in this thread, so many people changed their gear/skill setup as the first post states.

So i want you to ask if you could go over my profile (It's the character "MehrSalz", sry i dont know how to get a direct URL) and give some noob-advices :)

And i know, my gear is crap at the moment. But i dont have the currency to buy outstanding gear :( (15 chaos approx.)

I have choosen the onslought raider ascendancy, because it sounded good to have a high clearspeed :)

Was this the wrong decision?

Regards

Deadeye and Pathfinder are both strong for LA. The extra +1 to chain interacts well with LA on Deadeye, and Far Shot is always strong. Pathfinder, Veteran Bowyer is also very strong with all the physical damage scaling, and you can either further boost elemental damage or increase the potency of your flasks.

Generally you want to stack regen to counteract Blood Rage. That said, the Dualist dual-leech tree is quite strong now that it leeches all damage instead of just physical. Personally, I just invest two points into the first LL node, and the dual leech node.

Chain and Pierce do not work together. Unless things have changed, if you have 100% pierce you will never have the chain effect. According to the wiki, order of priority is Pierce > Fork > Chain > Return. If you have less than 100% pierce, failing to pierce would allow the chain effect to happen, but that is counter-intuitive to using Drillneck in the first place. +1 Chain is not a good tree to take with Drillneck.

thx for your advice.
was just a bit confused, beacause in the first page it says that deadeye, ricochet isnt that good for LA ranger.
