[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses
I've been playing around on my tornadoshotnew character (IIQ/IIR set up right now)
But using power charges, It throw my crit from 30% to over 50% from the monkey paw talisman, I feel like this is way more viable dps boost than other amulets, (at least with drill neck combinations) Also this guide needs a section for talismans in this league :/ Last edited by KCIV#4077 on Feb 6, 2016, 10:35:19 AM

There is a problem with the build:
1st: A complete inability to play any other character with less movement speed ever again after zipping around with full frenzy charges 2nd: Wastes a lot of time searching for drops that happen off screen If you can let me know how to fix these issues I would appreciate it. Thanks again for the superb guide, this is my first archer and I am simply loving playing this guy. Thanks |

Hello!
This is the first time i try to craft my own bow. I got this roll after 2 Alterations... Should i regal it now? Or is there any other crafting possibility i just dont know about? I read the part about crafting but i still want to ask. Just to be 100% sure :) |

Yes, you're forced to regal at this point, and hope for a high phys or hybrid roll. With Tora increased phys damage only you are capped to 265 dps with base attack speed, which isn't enough.

Hi!
I believe that my 43k tooltip DPS (tornado shot, blood rage, 6 frenzy and 3 power charges) at my lvl92 is low, so I need to make some upgrades. I have a few questions: how important is a 6l setup? +44% attack speed from 20lvl FA seems to be a very good DPS boost (as the 6th link). The problem is that I can't actually afford any good 6l armor. My current budget is ~4ex and the only 6l I can buy is something ~500evasion ~80life ~30twores. Is a not very good 6l better than my good 5l? Another thing is my jewelry: I've got this one Because I can't buy any GG rings to cap my resistances I need to drop my Atziri's Step and buy a good rare boots with missing res. Should I do that? My gear (4626 hp)

Thank you for any advice Last edited by DSJkaa#7275 on Feb 6, 2016, 9:30:20 PM

When is a good crit quiver better than drillneck? I have 37k dps with hatred + herald of ash. Will switching to a rare quiver at any point improve my dps? Also, how do you get decent health when running rat's nest, maligaro's and drillneck? I have 3.4k hp at level 83 right now.
Edit: also what are the minimum stats to do Atziri? Last edited by t0nsofdamage#0101 on Feb 7, 2016, 1:18:04 AM

@DSJkaa: a 6th socket is 25 to 35% more dps, usually, so yes it matters. But you shouldn't compromise your survivability for it, 40 kps is still enough to nearly anything in the game. You can just take your time and eventually 6l your bow, it's good enough to be worth it.
As for your jewelry, you're having problem because you have so many resist-less uniques. I tend to use one/two of them at most. This way I have much more room to move objects around. Your Broom Charm amulet is excellent, You should really find a way to use it. Also, try to upgrade to rare rustic sash asap, to get much more life. You can find rustic with 90+ life and two res for 30-40c, then craft the last res. Chaos are easy to find, which is not the case for exalts :s. @cst003: yes, you need to up your res badly. You need at least 60% lightning res to go say hello to Piety confidently. Also your damage is abnormally low. Chaos res doesn't matter for now; I have leveled to 95 with at most -50 chaos res. Upgrade most pieces of gear for some with life and two res above 30 and you should be fine for a while (like up to T6-T7 maps). This is to be done with boots, helmet, gloves, chest, sapphire ring. Craft some flat physical damage on your diamon ring. If you have one or two bless orbs, you can also bless. It's good enough to do it. For the bow, get your hands on a lioneye's glare, it's *very* effective for the price. Also do you really need ice shot and split arrow? You should just use one and use the slots for utility/defense. @t0nsofdamage: most quivers with high crit chance and multi will outperform drillneck. Ex: and probably these too: As for Atziri, there's no real gear check here. It's more about knowing the mechanics. The trio before her can be surprising, with the very powerfull dot. For Atziri herself, 15-20k and 3.5-4k life with capped res if you're good at manual dodging.
