The trend GGG just nerf everything that feels good, instead of working on 80% of content atm feels garbage is a thing peeps critique GGG again and again, while bots/idiots keeps spamming "POG" "GREAT LEAGUE" etc. We are playing strong builds cuz it make us enjoy the game, instead of suffering with elementalist ci heavy striker. No one play this combo cuz it's garbage and not fun isn't that simple and clear? Same with loot, empty maps that offer nothing by itself past 1 week is just a bad joke. And that's exactly how nerf fiesta works. If everything feels bad and weak it's balanced yeah? xD keep pogging boys all good, cuz u don't care about poe, same as devs as I see




Actual Peak delusion here, the top builds got nerfed cuz they outperform and were the meta for too long , without even needing investment for some of them ,which then scales up to stupid amounts with investment. You got 200 skills gems and u're stuck with the same ones cuz u don't think for yourself , "oh no super meta builds got nerfed ggg is doing bad stuff"

I think that it's a good thing GGG tries to shake the meta-game, nerfing overpowered skills is normal , a lot of the nerfs here hit the very high end of the builds , which were already giga overperforming , except PBoD which is -50% damage but still would work okayish , wouldnt be the monster if is rn, that's all.

And for the people crying about Standard ... Really? Like , you got all the pre-rework items, u got league items , u got so much stuff to play around ,and u guys are really crying because overperforming stuff is getting nerfed to be equal to the rest? You have no imagination and you just follow what is strong ,well , grow up , the game isnt just going around you, the good thing about this game is that it keeps evolving , keeps changing , good skills become bad skills ,bad skills become good skills... the dynamic makes the game feel good.

I'd say this patch is a good one , the map rework seems really smooth and cool , we'll see about the reworked late game , but something we can't deny is that GGG cooked.
>You now gain 1 Atlas Skill Point per Unique Map completed on your Atlas, up to a maximum of 10. There are around 20 Unique Maps available, so you only need to complete the half you want (not looking at you, Hall of Grandmasters).

Why do u acting like u were read my thoughts? Idgaf about nerfs personally , I'd always found the way to play build I can enjoy. I care about GGG focused on nerfing GAME overall only. That's a problem need attention asap untill it's too late and the only way left is to uninstall and search for something else
Why buff Absolution and Dominating Blow if you can't get the imbued Vaal Versions. Not getting any power from the league mechanic makes them essentially unplayable.
What will happen with awakened gems ? They change to greater version ?
is it path note? crappie short list! maybe time for full patch notes? one weak for prepare to leave! ascendancy not show, uniq not show, gems now show... most of this is build maker! and we dont know what a hidden gem you hide, i mean can you fit it for your build! its stupid!!!! NERF NERF NERF no FUN! path of building and progresion/planning its most fun for a lot of people than gameplay! and pls delete molten shell goats!
Super hyped for this league!

A mechanical question for GGG folks: I'm thinking up a Guardian build using Hallow Support on Static Strike, and using Summon Holy Relic to pop the Hallowing Flame debuff. To me, that combo seems thematically consistent. However, Hallowing Flame seems pretty clear in that it is consumed by Attacks, while Holy Relic's nova is a Spell that Hits. Would this setup work? If not, I hope you'll consider implementing some method to allow this interaction. An ascendancy passive, a transfiguration, a support, a unique, a cluster gem passive, or even a specific call-out on Holy Relic or Hallowing Flame that lets the Relic nova bypass the Attack requirement.

I realize this is a very specific and esoteric request, so I have no expectation of an answer, let alone consideration of any of the ideas. All of the ascendancies and skills I'm thinking of using were mentioned in the patch notes, so I dare to have hope. Thank you!

This is the nova skill, most other new skills are the holy themed ones and some transfigured versions of old ones.

Added a new Intelligence Transfigured Skill Gem, Shock Nova of Procession: Casts a ring of Lightning around you, followed by a larger Lightning nova. Each effect hits enemies caught in their area with Lightning Damage. This then repeats, with each repeat offset from the previous in the direction of your target.

Agreed. I had no idea what was going on with the poe 2 map system. That and the game is nowhere near as good as PoE 1. PoE 1 map system is simple and easy to understand. Just overcomplicating it for no reason.

What will happen with awakened gems ? They change to greater version ?

In Standard nothing will happen to those that players have. But they will no longer drop from Maven so no new Awakaned gems for players.
