I played the last 4 leagues calmly and enjoyably with CWS, but you ruined CWS with this ridiculous update. I hate what you did, you destroyed the only enjoyment I had. I don't understand your logic in eliminating a build in every league. What kind of absurd motivation is this?
This build Enable AFK farm, and this should not be possible.
How can sitting and gathering resources at the beginning of the game be considered AFK (away from the game)? What kind of logic is that? You clear maps and defeat bosses with this strategy. Where's the AFK part? And if you're going to say there's a lot of AFK during the ultimatum farming phase, don't make us laugh.
It is used to afk farm simulacrum and ultimatum while playing another char in map, yes.

I though I may have missed something, so I read several pages of comments here and apparently I am not the only one feeling these patch notes are festival of nerfs. We had deeper nerf expansions in the past, but usually new enhancements AND league mechanic neutered them significantly. Some builds were bricked completely, some effectively so, but other buids got boosts.
I do not see such enhancements in these patch notes, with just notable exceptions:
1. new skill gems (none of them appears to be fitting my preferences and playing fun factor though),
2. new supports (interesting but do not appear to ge material gamechangers)
3. new lvl1 support corruption items (interesting... provided all standard supports in the pool and that the items will not proove to be ultra rare and therefore multi-div expensive)
There are different types of players. Some enjoy the challenge and even appreciate GGG nefs nudging them to continuously look for new builds to enjoy the game. Others, myself included, have preferred playstyle, and enjoy developing characters in league AND between leagues making characters stronger and stronger. Nerfs kill playing experience for such players. Game is not a job, if you enjoy totems/ summoners/ tanks, you do not HAVE to switch playstyle to remain competitive, you can just stop playing POE altogether
This combined with not spectacular (description of?) league mechanics leaves me with quite a low hype factor. I have not decided whether to give it a try or not even that but I do not expect to stay long.
As opposite playstyle player i totaly agree. We do love nerf and changes in League BUT Standard shouldn't change each two leagues as it will loose his identity...

34 pages of comments have been written already and I cannot nor want to read or skim through so I apologize in advance.
I never write down anything cause usually I adapt pretty quickly to the changes and my builds follow my flexibility, however:
"Intelligence now inherently grants 1% increased Maximum Energy Shield per 10 Intelligence (previously per 5 Intelligence)."
This left me pretty confused, is energy shield really that dominant that deserves a nerf? I think the right question should have been: "why is life not as appealing as energy shield?"
Also armor is still pretty undeperforming when compared to Evasion rating (pls don't turn these posts into a monkey paw wish and nerf ER as well I am starting to struggle in the defense option department)
