Also, look at poe ninja. The tree is pretty much un-used after lvl 80-85. Everyone just rushes to large cluster jewel nodes and skips tree nodes entirely. Otherwise you have no DPS and no survivability.

Most fun about patchnotes every league is to read long posts from players who write long sad posts about that one skill got nerfed and their whole world came crumbling down haha.Holy hell you people are weak-minded.

Lets hope there wont be a shitton of "hidden" nerfs to all sorts of things they dont communicate and just hope nobody notices. has happened more than a few times so far....

Could be a good patch after all.
Missing from patch notes: 1. what happens to existing t17 maps (and all other historical named maps) in standard? are they all being flattened into the new tokenized maps? 2. where will harvest beasts be acquired? will they be mixed into the regular beast pool? or are those beast recipes all going legacy? |

I though I may have missed something, so I read several pages of comments here and apparently I am not the only one feeling these patch notes are festival of nerfs. We had deeper nerf expansions in the past, but usually new enhancements AND league mechanic neutered them significantly. Some builds were bricked completely, some effectively so, but other buids got boosts.
I do not see such enhancements in these patch notes, with just notable exceptions: 1. new skill gems (none of them appears to be fitting my preferences and playing fun factor though), 2. new supports (interesting but do not appear to ge material gamechangers) 3. new lvl1 support corruption items (interesting... provided all standard supports in the pool and that the items will not proove to be ultra rare and therefore multi-div expensive) There are different types of players. Some enjoy the challenge and even appreciate GGG nefs nudging them to continuously look for new builds to enjoy the game. Others, myself included, have preferred playstyle, and enjoy developing characters in league AND between leagues making characters stronger and stronger. Nerfs kill playing experience for such players. Game is not a job, if you enjoy totems/ summoners/ tanks, you do not HAVE to switch playstyle to remain competitive, you can just stop playing POE altogether This combined with not spectacular (description of?) league mechanics leaves me with quite a low hype factor.
