| " Yeah because giving up a whole ascendancy point into something easily solvable by a couple nodes is such a great example, to not mention the waste of resources you have to commit in order to keep the spectre alive, the so called "build Enabling" is so niche that some random uniques still do better. Simple nodes like The +seal one are actually something useful but also not enough. At the very end what matter is how much output a build can do, and the current BL do not offer either a different game play or numeric value increase. For example the jewelry ascendancy, is there any ring in this game that can be more efficient than flasks? Belts/ necks? even the strongest ring cant compete, maybe a 10 mirror one and even that, can that ring be traded with the sheer power of MB or HH a simplex, unique flasks? Is not the lack of ability to create a build, the game has some basic flow and these new ascendancies hardly fit in it. When you have a down side, you have to have a way to compensate it in such way that the compensation mechanism turns into a positive for your build, when this is hardly achieved the node power can be neglected for the simple reason a Down side turns into wasted affixes, then having the regular ascendancy + the sheer power affixes beats the new "cool" gimmick. |   |

| After quickly running this topic I actually found all criticism of Bloodline Ascendancies reasonable. Especially weird (from my perspective) boss choices for ascendancies. Some chosen bosses are not very easy to access. LIke Lycia. In order to meet her, you need successfully pass through 4 flours of Sanctum. And not all builds can do it. And not all people like this encounter. So in temrs of builds this mechanic is very nieche thing. Weird choice for ascendancy and wrong on my opinion, despite I played a lot of Sanctum back in Settlers. Same apply to Trialmaster, because it the same story - very specific endgame mechanic in terms of what builds can do it. Do you really believe, GGG, that people would be doing some CWS build just to get Trialmaster Ascendancy. Also, Atziri is more related to Vaal powers, why don't give her Vaal related ascendancy instead of Trialmaster? Also Olroth choice. I played a lot in Expedition and I know thats its not fast to get that boss. Pick up lines of these ancient text, roll Expedition books... Its also very nieche thing. So I think that people would be using carry services mostly in order to get ascendacies from these bosses, because it would be easiest way to get them. However its not fine for players, who likes to get everything by themselves, especially when its SSF On my opinion (as we as some other players in this topic) Pinnacle bosses, whose defeated is needed to complete Atlas, should get their ascendancies. These ones are: - Searing Exarch; - Eater of Worlds; - Shaper; - Elder; - Maven; - Atziri (should get actually Ttialmaster ascnedancy, also why she was kicked from Feared?); - Xesht (like its reasonable to have him, agree with GGG, coz original Breachlords were in invitations, and you want to make new Breach attractive, its ok, probably the only right choice from GGG); - Cortex; - Sirus (yep, some people would disagree but I like that SIrus got in Feared, I see that reasonable. Beacuse why his Conquerors are in Atlas invitations but not him) - Have not come with 10th ascendancy but should we have actually 10? Why not nine for previous picks? Also, GGG said in league reveal that they implemented bloodline ascendancies, so players can embrace powers of defeated bosses but looking upon nodes I don't feel its embracing pinnacles powers. Again, on my opinion, if you want players embrace these powers, there can be next approach: you take 2 most notable for players pinnacle boss skill and give them to players in for of Notable nodes like "Grants # level # skill". You might give them a little bit nerfed to players or even make bosses immune to his own skill when its used by players. Also its would be good to compose Ascendancy branches in a way when player can choose only one of these two skills. And add on top of that buffs for the damage type with which that Pinnacle boss is related. For example take Searing Exarch. his league I am tinking about league start with RF INquisitor but I don't see in existing new ascendancies any node really beneficial for RF. But Exarch might would have such ones. Like you can give players his Fire balls skill but make balls basically like fire projwectiles with Point blank or Returning projectile properties, also it shoots from players in rounds. All give player Exarch rune, which either do Fire DoT or have some chance either for fire ele pen, or reducing max fire res or treat enemies fire res as inverted, basically funny gambling with fire dmg debuffs on enemies. Such rune would be really good agains for single target which is importan for RF, for example but could be beneficial for other fire builds like Fireatorm of Pelting, Incinerate of Venting etc. Eater is related with Lightning dmg so you can give Enegised balls, which can do similar to previously offered Exarch rune, like chance to get certain debuff byt for lightning dmg. Or give a cahnce to hit enemies with big ligtning bolt, which do nice lightning damage and afterwards leave degen on ground which do lightning DoT. Uber Atizir can give player actually Ele reflect. Like we have in game mods on items for player to reflect melee dmg to attackers, why dion;t give same but for Ele reflect, not completely but actually partially. I actually find funny arcehtype of build which is ZDPS but reflect well enemies dmg. Apologies for long post but I wrote it rather as feedback to GGG, players can write GET DOWN. |   |

| Very underwhelming patch not going to lie, almost losing complete interest in the league. League mechanic - looks really good Balancing this league from the patch notes - extremely underwhelming Bloodline Ascendancies - extremely underwhelming - its quite difficult to even choose one if there were 2 FREE points purely for Bloodline, lol |   |

| While I can understand how others here could feel disappointed reading these tress, I'm just upset that these are rather boring. A lot of copy & paste stuff. AKA- BORING! How about an emerging trigger-skill called 'invisibility'? Doesn't that provoke an instant eyebrow quiver? How about a timed skill? Like 4 seconds on and 5 off. Where during the 'on' period your character transforms into a deadly wraith? Granting you it's own specific set of skills. There could also be a ton of superficial but still amazing character appearance additions. Like instead of your character *holding* their weapon, it instead floats above them? That's just simple harmless fun that GGG could do... but doesn't. The reasons for this failure? I fear that POE1 will get back-burned for POE2. I hope that isn't whats happening. I've believed in GGG for many years now. But is what we're seeing here the result of the GGG I once knew, losing their creativity? PLEASE GGG, prove me wrong! Confront those who dare obstruct the transmission of your information with swift rejection, for they sit silently obsessing over your submission. | It looks like a neural network that has been given the task of making a description based on pictures. Too niche. Too conditional. Too many downsides (c) Most builds cannot use those and are objectively worse that normal ascendancies (c) Dont use PoE2 downsides here too we dont even like them in poe2 (c) Dont ask PoE2 team to balance PoE1, they can't handle the original task.
