Since this patch, POE2 crashes my whole system. No error message. Just turns off.
Usually shortly after a loading screen. Ryzen 7800x3d 32gb ram rtx 4080 win 11 24H2 26100 Read about wd ssd's being a potential issue. Checked for firmware updates. Since that didn't help, reinstalled to Samsung ssd. Also didn't help. A broad selection of other games works just fine. Will stop trying until I see a patch note which suggest it could be fixed, since the shutdown seems unhealthy... |

It's absurd and disrespectful that I have a high-end computer and can't play the game. Since the game's release, I've been experiencing crashes every 20 to 40 minutes. I don't play anymore. Shameful.
A lot of people having the same problem and I dont see anyone trying to solve thins on GGG.... But the support packs page still up to date.... ... ... |

" Seriusly ggg throw is a f**ing bone. Say something damnit. Some of us have been crashing 50+ times a day, we're beyond frustrated! We want to play your game but we can't! Please just say SOMETHING Edit: Ive been running logging tools all day and there is nothing related to these crashes in them. There are no errors, Theres nothing anywhere Fun things, Sad things... i discovered it is a memory leak due to some calculation done with upscaling, no matter the tech (FSR, NIS and so on)
i have 16GB of ram, whenever the game goes beyond 6GB of usage, it starts dipping my frame time, doing the interlude from act 1 is a nightmare because the visual of crops burning eats a lot of resources i did the virtual memory change and now i can play normally, but this is NOT a fix, the game still leaks memory like a broken dam Last edited by Dragoon_Diver#5241 on Sep 5, 2025, 11:57:52 AM

" Yay! I'm not alone. I noticed it too. PoE2 even flushed my swap partition(12GB) to the max after a few minutes, and it usually never runs out of space because of my 32GB ram. Something bricked real hard in the new 0.3 patch, and I haven't read anything about a fix in recent hotfixes. That means, that there are still some poor souls debugging the hell out of this game just to get this one bug under control! I'm sending love and prayers to these guys :D |
