POE 2 0.3.0b patch crashing high end pc's

Ryzen 9 RTX 5080 128gb ram and this was cooking my processor to where my temp alarms went off i had to shut it down. sever al crashes before that where i would try to restart and just get black screens
Patch 0.2 was fine, but now I can't play for more than about 30 seconds before a crash happens.

Completely unplayable.

On Nvidia RTX 3080.
I agree! I have the same problem!
Here is my thread with a more detailed description:

Crashing every 10 min or so. The abyss monster packs are tanking my pc hard. I had no problems since 0.1.
RTX 3070 ti
Intel i5 11400

PS: Why is this game using more CPU power and really no Gpu power shouldn't the load be on the graphic cards?

It's not really CPU hungry. During gameplay my CPU use is usually at around 10%. In heavy packs with lots of effects going off it jumps to maybe 20-30% but rarely more.

But then suddenly after 15 mins or so of playing it jumps to 100% and everything freezes for a minute or two. Graphs show shader activity. So has something to do with shaders recompiling during gameplay, which should not be happening.

Idk how did this pass QA and why haven't they acknowledged this yet. It's unplayable.
I am also experiencing this issue. I'm constantly crashing to desktop after a few minutes. Crashes on both Vulkan and DX12.

i9 14900kf
rtx 4090
It's probably the memory leak. Check your vram and system ram usage outside of the game, the game will fill up whatever ram you have and it will start loosing textures and then stuttering until an eventual crash.

Same problem, ever since yesterday! I was playing fine for hours and hours and hours and than suddenly i assume after the patches i crash randomly constantly, no error, straight to desktop. using a 3060 TI, i thought maybe it was a Linux specific issue but its not!

Especially when mi around abyss mobs. Today it got even worse, I can play for about 5 minutes at a time before it crashes now, its UNPLAYABLE. What did you do to my boy?

edit: tried vulkan and DX
edit edit: Crashed with multi threading disabled as well

It's not. PoE2 doesn't even use half of my 16GB VRAM. And while I didn't check RAM usage I'm fairly certain my 64GB is plenty enough to play with some massive memory leaks for an extended period of time. Definitely not the 15 mins I'm getting.
definitely check your ram usage, depending on how fast it fills up it can still be the cause even with 64gb. But it could be something else too (or a combo), game is full of performance and stability issues this patch.
