It should not be a guaranteed drop, but this highlights a key flaw in SSF within this game. It’s poor design when, despite your best efforts, you’re still bottlenecked by trade-dependent and balanced drop rates. This is exactly why more games should take a page from Last Epoch and find a fair middle ground for both SSF and trade communities. The trade-gated, friction heavy approach of Diablo 2 hasn’t aged well at all.

"Outdated thinking. No one looks at someones profile and thinks "damn, this guy is ssf, what a good player". People play ssf because they don't want to trade and sometimes for a bit more longevity. Making ssf more reasonable doesn't take away from your achievements, it simply respects your time and makes the game more accessible to true solo players. " Outdated? Its prob most relevant than ever. badges, swag, titles are very much in demand for a reason. There is absolutely no diff between ssf and trade except the 'cred' same with hardcore- you could play non-hc and just delete your char (as people used to do back in the day), but people get more satisfaction if they get that status even if they don't share it with anyone else |

" Lol....its not "outdated thinking", it is literally the entire design of SSF for PoE. Explicitly stated by the GGG developers who created it. There's no thinking involved here...that is just what it is. I mean...they could decide to change that, sure. But this is not an "opinion" thing as it currently exists. Looking at other player's profiles and being impressed or unimpressed with their SSF "achievements" is irrelevant to the design of SSF lol.
