if you don't want to get muted... stay out of chat and quit whining about being muted. talk to people using discord or some other alternate chat platform. it's an arpg, not a chat room anyway. just play the game as it's meant to be played. it could also be a ploy to drive players away from poe1 so they can put more effort into poe2 if it ever comes out so they can abandon poe1 poe is going down fast. Diablo 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 have no performance issues. play them instead
