So defiance of destiny is broken. Bought a cheap one to test and I don't really get hit anymore.. my damage is high enough that I still steam roll content and I'm a brick wall.

I will set my cast when damage taken to much higher to avoid one hits and let this roll.

Next step I'll invest in a good one along with the Crit determination watchers for my leveling journey.

Just tried a mid-rolled Defiance of Destiny and you can more or less just stand there.

Well, you eventually die but not in any great hurry. That's in an L16 with double wisps and the usual rare affixes. Decent gear with the usual caps capped.

That's a safe relaxing path to 100 sorted then. Running it with Death Rush seems a pretty good idea.

Wonder how it works with bosses.
{edit - tried it and...pretty good. You still die to DOTs. Not tried it on anything serious yet. Tried an elder/shaper with Maven and didn't die. I usually die.}

Trying to keep it simple :

I'm tempted to say yes, but it's a combination of attack speed, hit chance and duration, more or less, the whole point is getting to/close to max fuses.
[Edit : Tbh apart from using clusters there's not much more you can do about attack speed on your build, you've put it almost everywhere. Your value is really high already]

Like, right now you're clearly fine with attack speed imho (19-20 pob fuses). You could get the DoT Mastery for 15% duration so you get to 21-22 (22 being the max, it used to be 20.

You can see the fuses calculations in calcs :
socket group EA ; Skill part : max sustainable fuses
-> Skill type-specific stats : max sust fuses gives the number, mouseover and you'll see how it is calculated.

It's pretty much the reason why xzealiox is talking about it, he was looking for ways to make 100 easier as he is an xbox player.

BC there is no Legion 5 way carries. Getting to 100 is pretty tricky. Which is my goal this season. So I'm trying to mitigate death as much as possible while still doing damage and doing good XP.

Now, for someone who would still be at dot cap against regular content using it, it is just free amazing defences.
Purely mapping etc, it is a great item, as it basically negates small hits.

It's for when your DPS is so high that losing 12 million still has you in the high twenties against map bosses.

Don't forget to Annoint it too. You'll lose about 3,5m ignite DPS (-17%).
But the Upside of beeing almost unkillable makes you actually kill stuff a lot faster overall.

No more "oh that looks dangerous, I should place my totems first before approaching" or hiding behind a doorway while the totems do their job.
You'll just Leeeroy-Jenkins into the middle of everything.


For lvling to 100:
Juiced T16 Abyss is absolute Bonkers EXP Wise.
It only takes 15 Maps to go from 99->100.
