budget tank over endgame dps... if there are no nerfs for 3.13 ill probably go scion. I have some thoughts for a CI scion that I want to try next league, cant really respec because ill use/sell my gear to get there and I wont be #1 shav/arc guardian anymore. The ability to get 8 medium clusters and more auras + the necro cast speed vs the armour/es and free aura effect.

at first glance, you dont have optimized gems setup.
I dont know why your awakened cold pen wasnt giving you any damage, so i just swapped it to the next best thing.

you didnt have bottled faith, cinderswallow.

and your phys reduction is only 78.

I tried subbing in taste of hate to get pseudo armor/more phsy reduction but it wasnt good enough, so i resorted to using a rumi for now.

15 mil dps is enough to do most things. Not sure if its t16 100% deli viable or how fast you can do sirus 8.

First time doing aura stacker so im a bit lost on where I could do more upgrades.

I generally have no issues with damage or tankiness, apart from boss mobs who take a couple seconds to down with vaal haste and RF, and getting one shot from time to time.

I'm currently using 5 small cluster jewels with specific reduced reservation notables (self-control, Pure Guile/Might/Aptitude, Sublime Form), and was wondering how much 1% reduced mana reservation jewels I would need to be able to switch those out.

Are there any auras that I'm using that are wasteful?

To make up for the loss of the small clusters you would need about 17% RMR it seems in my pob.

That can be achieved by saqawals and putting rmr's in the free slots and you may need about 2 more rmr jewels. Swapping out shavrones means you need to run CI.

Running CI means you do half the damage because you lose pain attunement and righteous fire and you have to support all your aura's by mana. (that isn't a huge issue when you are running such high rmr that you dont need the small clusters, but it does mean you will need another tiny bit more rmr)

This does however make some skill points available. If you add a big investment (10mirrors) in 1 node voices to free up even more points and 35% medium jewels, it becomes possible to reach 400% aura effect. The 5% phys reduction per aura this provides combined with the CI you now have makes you the ultimate tank. The 400% aura effect makes it your damage is not too shabby even though you gave up halve your damage. 10 mirrors though.

I have also tried a lot to get rid of those dirty small clusters, but i found snellious was right and that in an affordable build, we pretty much need them.

I have made builds with both of the armors. Both of them are made to reach 300% aura effect. Ill share them here so you can have a look. Also a 400% version:

As you can see, the saqawals needs a lot more investment to reach the 300% as it needs some expensive jewels to get the needed RMR and does significantly less damage. I intent to make a 300% victario build as well these days, but it will not be for comparison as it will be a pure support zero dps build.

Seems I don't even need to answer the questions posed in this thread anymore, the advise given by others seems accurate enough although not sure if for the questions posed.

Almost 5m+ shaper dps and 90 ele res with 74 pdr and 57 evade chance seems fine... fill in the missing flasks with a granite (to cap pdr) and something (jade/silver) will help a little, the tank you are really lacking is chaos resist which is achieved with better clusters.
Easy damage can be gotten with level 21 auras and +2 corruptions (helm and shield), a 21/20 arc with 21 or woke supports.
Your biggest issue for dps is lack of mana regen, you have 5.23 cast per second (without vaal haste) with a cost per cast of 51 mana, with spell echo (every 2nd cast is free) you are spending 133 mana per second but only regen 95 (and the cost per second will jump a bunch with vaal haste active). You need to find a way to level your clarity. Cost per second = cast per second x cost per cast / 2

Most higher aura count lowlife aura stackers use the specific reduced reservation nodes, and the good ones use them on small cluster instead of mediums. NonExistingName is correct, CI don't need them because of Saqawal's Nest but Shavs cant get enough base RMR. Even with all RMR jewels and a -7 amulet you will have to drop an aura or 2... you save 10 passive points sure but that's not really enough for more medium clusters so all you will get a little damage/tank on the tree for it.

Yes defiantly, to get a reasonable amount of damage required more currency but the top end of damage is much higher. I feel that CI is for Scions and Lowlife is for Guardians... CI wants/needs the extra skill points from scion

Hey! I switched over from storm brand (that was fairly geared up) to this. Just because I wanted to try something else entirely.
I do feel a lot more squishy than with my storm brand build though and it feels like my boss DPS is lower (although my PoB says otherwise).
Besides making sure I have the 90% ele res (it's 89, 90, 89 right now) what would be the best thing to upgrade to make my char feels less squishy? If anybody could help me out a bit, that would be awesome.

is getting Vaal Arc any useful or should i just stick to Arc 21/20?
