Hi Jenno! Thank you again for taking the time to do this build it's absolutely enjoyable.

I just wanted to share my POB as I feel like I'm lacking behind in the damage department even though I feel like I've done an investment in my gear that would normally yield more damage. If you could ever reply to me with what you think needs changing that would be amazing.

Thanks in advance.

I see, you just finished transitioning to crit build. Several suggestions:

1. your flame dash is overleveled, as a result, you will have big mana issue. Keep your flame dash at lvl1

2. I'm not sure about the infernal cry, feel free to give it a test and let me know :)

3. You should start using crown of the inward eye immediately, it gives you a lot of extra damage and EHP

4. I recommend replacing lion's roar with rumi's concoction for more survivability

5. after you replace the helmet, get freeze immunity

6. get a basalt flask for more phys reduction

7. if you have mana issue, you can either craft 40% mana regen, or craft -9 mana cost

8. Your overall HP pool is a bit low, try getting more %life jewel and getting more life on gear. I think the ideal EHP after you get the new helmet is ~7k

At last, I just made some update to the crit build tree and its gears, make sure to use the most current POB and read the latest Q&A

[3.17] Ultimate Self-cast Flameblast Occulist. Pure Damage and Tankiness for End Game.

We are starting to use Unwavering Stance on mid-budget build, check out the new tree, POB, Q&A for details.

well im very sad to say i've finally given up.

i really learned a lot trying out this build.

i've never done fossil crafting and managed to make the chest.

i also like the fact that the build was slower paced. i think i could make it work, but maybe not this particular build. there's so much detail in making sure it works the way it's supposed to i'm sure i've overlooked something, and probably something very basic.

i still think this is a really well written guide, but not good enough for someone who is terrible at the game. lol.

edit: also big thank you to Jenno for helping out and answering so many questions.

Just crafted this one just minutes ago. hit t1 Phys damage with like 10 Jagged Fossils.

was like randomly "lets try fracture". and hit it.

Than followed by perfect fossil. Gilded to make it more "shiny".

After that i rolled around 500 Jagged fossils and wasnt able to hit the t1 flat damage which burnt a lot of currency.
Furthermore i decided not to go on and just let it t2
After that i went for Multimod, hits cant be evaded, crit and quality and than augmented crit via harvest craft, because i think we dont need any more AS anyways.

if i have a lot of currency left i maybe think about rerolling it again, costed an overall of around 25 ex to craft, saying that i was really lucky with fracture, but unlucky with the flat phys.

Is it a good weapon or would u change sth on it? (on suffix mod.)
TY
Hey i have one question about my weapon. I am about to get one with "Hits cant be evaded" and compare those to my weapon at pob.

But something i miss there, there is a Staff with a higher dps than another one and still my average damage goes down compared to my weapon. while the lower dps staff goes up. (Both have hits cant be evaded)

Maybe someone can explain that to me before i am going to invest in another weapon.

Nice build by the way! I like it very much.

I think i can also help you with that. altough the first has more dps and Attack speed! the second has more physical damage on the base.

The build is not depening on AS which lessens the dmg you get with it.

Yep, that was it!

Thank you mate, sometimes its the small detail
If using a jewel to give fortify (I'm thinking about explode chest so then getting a large jewel with 'overlord'), what 6th gem would use instead of Fortify?

Or is my idea just a bad one and we should just stick to using the fortify gem?

I wouldn't say the idea is a bad one but I have not found other good gems. In POB, you can sort the gem by its damage by the way.
