You should spec master alchemist for immune to ailments. Later on you can craft 100% avoid ailments on gear and drop that node for master toxicist / nature's adrenaline whichever you had to skip for master alchemist.

I've a question about cluster jewels. Is it worth using 1x medium and 1x large or it should be 2? And losing top side of the passive tree really worth it for 1 large and 2 medium?
Anyone know if the TR 20% quality is worth it or can I go ahead and vaal it for chance to get lvl 21 TR

I'm running Caustic Arrow with this. Seems to work very nicely. This build is so much fun it's almost criminal.

Thank you very much.
CA is significantly less damage unless you stack "attack damage" mods and even substitute attack damage gems.

But then you're spreading yourself too thin. You need DoT/Duration/AoE mods for the caustic ground, but you also need piercing/projectile attack damage/bow attack damage for the arrow hits... on top of requiring Accuracy to actually hit.

And, the DoT's/Caustic Ground don't stack because caustic ground can't technically "overlap". It's simply a single application ground ailment, while Toxic Rain DoT's are "vines" that can all apply at same time and "overlap/stack".

Toxic Rain DoT does not require accuracy, either. It (the vines) hit/apply no matter what. And, you don't need piercing or attack damage mods, so you can sink all your efforts into just the DoT.

CA is a horrible gem by comparison. Especially if you're following this build passive tree, which doesn't prioritize accuracy or attack damage at all. Just sayin.

I'm mostly using CA to flood the map with poisons, not to deal projectile damage. The DoT Damage/Area Damage/Poison/Chaos do apply to that, if I understand the mechanics correctly. Been experimenting with Greater Volley/Fork/GMP, and when I get a large group going, it'll damn near fill the screen with poisons. That's additional chaos damage over an extremely wide area. :)

Remi, wdyt about Herald of Agony ?
I feel like a HoA should do decent on Poison Builds.

I've been playing for a year yet I understand close to nothing KekW.
Loving the build so far, I was lucky enough to craft a large cluster jewel early into Heist. Are medium clusters still used in 3.12? It mentions that they aren't that good anymore in the notes in that section.

Thanks!
