Switching to this from my Caustic Arrow build, it seems much more consistent and viable. Thank you!

I don't understand 1 thing. Why would you ever want awakened swift affliction? It reduces toxic rain dot time by 25%, and normal swift affliction reduces it by 15%. Isn't that pure damage loss?

Hello,
Appreciate the guide! I've never really given PoE a serious try until now so taking my time to learn everything and your guide has made it much easier! I was hoping I could get some guidance on what to focus on next gear/progression wise. I'm currently still setting up my atlas doing tier 9 maps at the moment. It's starting to feel like my damage and survivability is dropping a little bit, but still a somewhat easy time in tier 9. Here's my PoB below (I hope I did this right, my first time). I have about 2 ex to spend and finding it somewhat hard to make currency since I have no clue what is worth picking up etc. Also, in what situations would I use withering step? Thanks in advanced! https://pastebin.com/W4893TpP Last edited by Apakk on May 6, 2021, 11:15:24 PM

" Quality woke swift gives 10% dot multi. Duration is basically a bait on pob dps and you don't want to get too much if it (explained on the mechanics section) I cast remi - a very beginner friendly guide : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2866127

" You can put Replica Quill Rain on your offhand and use caustic on clearing, weapon swap for bossing. It will feel a lot better I cast remi - a very beginner friendly guide : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2866127

" you are temporary vulnerable during that 1.5 second, but as long as you can play well around the cooldown, you are basically immune. Since this is a dodge build and we have a bunch of stuff to mitigate it (wind ward + wind dancer, crabs etc), but the main part is to just run around and avoid getting hit during that 1.5 second cooldown. It is similar to "don't get it", but not those pepega "damage while dodging" stuff, since you have mirage archers to do the damaging job while you are dodging and evading stuff around, you can reliably pull this off. It is basically how deep delvers survive cus the animation of monsters can't keep up with your speed, so their attacks and spells will never land on you I cast remi - a very beginner friendly guide : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2866127

" I still recommend you to check the QnA progression guide first, it covers most of the stuff you need unless it gets very specific. But for your case, you haven't finished the progression part yet for now, so feel free to visit it, when you have issues come back later on. Use withering step to apply wither on targets that can't die easily such as bosses I cast remi - a very beginner friendly guide : https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2866127

" Thanks for the reply. I apologize about the noobness and hand holding, I might just not understand enough of the game but I’m actually lost on what part of the QnA/progression part I have yet to complete. With the exception of one of my rings missing the lowered mana cost (which I think I can craft this on, I just haven’t found the recipe yet). There are times I read through it and search the trade to try to find upgrades to spend my currency on but I’m not sure where to start from this point. Made some updates with second set of cluster jewels. Life is fairly low right now and next levels will be to get more life nodes. https://pastebin.com/4hnZn3Wm Last edited by Apakk on May 8, 2021, 2:04:32 AM

Anyone able to help me out on what my next goal should be? The survivability of this build is feeling pretty awful right now.

Thanks so much for this fantastic build. Currently sitting at level 95. Highest level I've ever achieved. No issues at all so far. Just a question about the medium and large cluster jewels. I'm about to start adding them into the build. I'm wondering if item level factors is important. The jewels are pretty hard to find but I've found one at lvl 61, 4 passives with Wicked Pall & Exposure Therapy for 1 ex. Will it need to be a higher item level?
