" It comes from both FtF and Blood Rage, but moreso FtF because it accounts for all damage while BR only physical dmg. The problem is you're just missing a lot of possible +damage modifiers, and also a fair amount of life. With a Quill Rain, your DPS is ~2.2M while mine is ~13M. Plus I have 2 FtF's to your 1. Here is your actual PoB: https://pastebin.com/VSH8wzkW And here is mine (with Quill Rain): https://pastebin.com/8wLX2H33 So this is causing your life leech to be pretty low per instance. Which means you need like 17 leech instances to hit your ~900 leech cap, while I only need 3 leech instances to hit my ~1200. However, you're shooting around 38 arrows per second @ 87% hit chance (so ~33 arrows/s should hit), so you should easily be getting those 17 hits/leech instances needed to reach your nearly 900 leech cap inside 1 second. So you should be seeing/feeling the leech, but it takes nearly a second to charge it up to the rate cap. And, don't forget, the instant you reach full life, all your 17 leech stacks disappear and you don't start them over until your life goes less than full. And then you have about another 1 second needed to charge those stacks back up again. So it is there, you just need to improve your DPS drastically (getting your skill & support gem levels to max will greatly improve this, along with upgrading your gear and getting some more +chaos, +DoT, and +attack speed). Other than that, I don't know what else to say. It's better than not having any life leech. And, your DPS definitely went up with the changes I recommended, as you were in the 1.4M sDPS area before, and you're now around 2.2M sDPS. And your durability has to feel better with vaal grace added, along with when you can get some endurance charges up for some added phys res, too. Just hang in there and slowly but surely grind away those upgrades, is really only advice left, I guess. Last edited by SkylerOG on Sep 28, 2020, 3:31:37 PM

" LoL 10 AOE is not worth on a build that is trying to stack AOE increase XD what the irony XD " Mirage.A.S for skill duration Malevolance also for skill duration and if you can cover the AOE for TR overlap or you just don't care, Anomalous TR for more skill duration Anomalous Bloodrage for frenzy charge generation on boss Anomalous Immortal Call for Cooldown Recovery Rate to proc it more often Last edited by nguyendathung on Sep 28, 2020, 3:04:02 PM

Hi Everyone,
So this is my second 'real' season playing PoE and I've been loving this build so far for Heist. Tons more damage and survivability compared to my Harvest build (frost blades assassin). I noticed that for certain Conqueror's I'm still dying quite a fair bit even though most of my gear is pretty standard from the guide. Not sure if it's because I'm not avoiding things correctly or missing something (this is my first time doing 86+ content now so maybe I'm just inexperienced). I think I need to add in Enduring Cry as well. Overall just looking for some input on how to continue progressing. Some coming milestones will be getting another large cluster jewel, getting the remaining medium cluster jewels, getting the center jewel that lets you choose skill tree passives not connected to the tree. My skill gem setup needs some work too I think. I would really appreciate any input on how my character is progressing so far and how to improve. Thanks! "Isn't IC already at the CWDT 0.25s cooldown limit, so you can't proc it more often than is already possible? Last edited by SkylerOG on Sep 28, 2020, 3:38:28 PM

" That PoB is pretty standard, although it has 6 arrows overlapping set in config when it's only overlapping 5 with 28 radius. So the DPS number it shows is inflated by around +21% too much. Also, you don't have your game characters set as "public" in settings, so nobody can see your char to tell you what they think of it so far. That said, a lot of people have dumped Glorious Vanity/Divine Flesh because of the nerf. It now only allows +5% max chaos res and ALL DAMAGE bypasses energy shield. So it's basically around just 7-8% extra elemental and chaos damage mitigation for 4 passive points, on top of re-appropriating 4 passives (2 str & 2 life nodes), of which a couple of those typically end up being trash/useless unless you're super lucky. So it's kind of not worth it anymore. Some of us would rather have the ~200 life back and put the 4 points elsewhere... like more life, which ultimately nets more EHP than what Divine Flesh extra damage mitigation is now giving. Also, it's not that ES was really anything for this build, but some folks have begun settling for 5 overlapping arrows instead of 6 because getting to 30 radius is a pain in the ass without really good gear and spending a bunch of extra points to reach more +AoE nodes. And as a result, they've swapped out their Broadsides for Feed the Fury, and then added Energy Leech gem in place of Swift Affliction. And then because Blood Rage keeps ES at zero, the ES Leech more multiplier condition is always on, along with always proccing Feed the Fury increased damage when leeching, too. Not to mention, adding the potential for ~1000-1200 life leech to the build in the process. BUT, to do all that, you have to dump Glorious Vanity/Divine Flesh, otherwise Blood Rage won't effect your ES which just always sits there at full since all damage bypasses it. I would only really go to the energy leech version if your able to get the alt quality blood rage, as it generates charges on hitting unique enemies supposedly... till then stick with the normal version..... my opinion anyways lol

" Wow thanks for the heads up! I set my character to public so it should be visible now. Also thanks for the info on the cluster jewel passives. I never had Glorious Vanity/Divine Flesh yet so I'll avoid getting those. And I guess Feed the Fury and Tempered Arrowheads for a cluster jewel then? Also does this leech get messed up if I have a point in Eternal Youth? Thanks so much | |
"Considering you only have like what... maybe 150-250 Energy Shield, your ES recharge rate is maybe 30-50. Meanwhile you're cutting your life regen and life leech cap in half for 30-50 life recharge? Your life regen is already likely that high with just Heart of Oak if it weren't cut in half simply because recharge doesn't start until at least 2 seconds after you stop taking damage. So you're missing out on constant life regen for something that has a variable start. So No, unallocate Eternal Youth immediately. It's rarely useful, and even then you need to have a decent ES pool to be worth it. Also, I looked at your char, and you need to move vaal haste to your bow and put vaal grace where VH was. And then add enduring cry somewhere. It's clunky and has a cast time that sucks, but when you can drop it on a pack of mobs at the beginning of a map, it's usually an instant 3 endurance charges and 12% phys damage reduction for the rest of the map as long as you don't stop more than 9 seconds and let your endurance charges expire. Also, next priority is a thread of hope in that middle jewel socket so you can get potency of will wheel and harrier. After that, get a ring with Despair curse on hit on it. You also have extra open sockets, so toss a lightning golem in one for extra atk speed if there's nothing else you have to fill it. After all that, just begin grinding out gear upgrades and clusters.
