[3.21] Aegis Incinerate Elementalist - Tank with over 10mil Shaper DPS!

I respeced a bit and it does feel nice not having to worry about shield charging every 5 seconds, but still unsure if I want to lose the evil eye damage and blind.
Help! I deal low damage. Help I dont know what to do actually. Do I need 15 exalts orb for low life belt??? I need to know!

first, go and buy a level 21 Incinerate. It is really cheap and will increase your DPS significantly.

The Belt does provide a ton of damage to the build via Pain Attunement, but there is another way to get low life. You can also get low life via Petrified Blood which allows you to allocate Pain Attunement with out needing to spend for the belt.

You can look at my build to see how it is accomplished. Please let me know if you have any questions:

Like Andy said, level 21 incinerate

Also you are using increased AOE support. As elementalist with Heart of Destruction that is way overkill on AOE (although seeing your fire cover the screen is fun). Change it to some damage support.

You amulet annoinment is ... beefy :D Please change it to something more useful. If you need strength a passive point to get 30 on the tree is a better return on investment than your amulet annointment.

Cast speed makes incinerate feel much better, try to squeeze more in on your gear on

Is this build still good as Inquisitor? Asking because you provide Elementalist POB on the 1st post.

It still works, but Elementalist provides way more benefits now :)
(more AoE, more dmg)

Biggest difference on the defensive side is that Inq gets more regen, for both life and ES, but Elementalist gains an Elemental Aegis.
im reading the guide and kind of confused, sorry if a stupid question.. but the 3.15 POB you have at the top is for witch. Is this build run as a tank witch now? or am i missing something

That is correct.

Between the nerfs to Inquisitor and the buffs to Elementalist, the Elementalist version is the better of the two (by far).
Such a well written, detailed guide, congratulations.
I am now level 77 with this build and it is a lot of fun to play, however i do have a few doubts.
Finding jewel's with the requirements is proving to be very difficult if not impossible (megalomaniac with overlord plus the other 2 just doesn't exist ), never mind finding one that has either maimed or silence on it.
Same again with Watchers eye, the item is just not available on trade or is ridiculously priced.
Rings with chaos resist especially the unset are few and far between.
Sorry to be negative, just feeling a lot of frustration at present. I cannot do much crafting so rely on the poe trade site for items

Yes, the original guide has top end gear, but you don't need any of it for the build to be viable.

Megalomanic Overlord - I used shield charge/fortify instead

Watcher eye - If you don't use Coward Legacy, you dont need the unaffected by vulnerability mode nor the reduced curse rings. Andy used petrified blood for low life this league, as I did the previous league. Watcher eye with +armor with determination is usually pretty cheap, no one else except this build uses it. A +ES on hit one is more expensive but very good as well, and that can be used in many other builds.

I don't think you need unset rings if you are not running golems. I used to love golems and ran with them, but eventually went the OP's way because golems are just too fragile.

Skin of the Loyal with extra +skill - these are usually pretty expensive too, so I never used it. Two (?) leagues ago I used a Skin of the LORDS instead, with PHASE ACROBATICS, free 30% spell dodge :D

At the end of the day, when you look at a guide, try to figure out what is the crux of the build that makes it work. For this build it's armor -> ES recovery via Aegis Aurora. Cerebrus is pretty BIS as well. Incinerate is the best damage scaling spell, I haven't found anything else that can compare (storm burst, divine ire, etc). The +2 stages enchant is just too powerful.
