Here's a video of 20 waves simulacrum with Lightning strike. I died once in wave 20 cause I sticked with lightning strike instead of changing to Molten Strike but the damage are not enough to kill fast boss with lightning strike :(

I'd say 2k3 int with 500str/500dex should be good enough for clearing simulacrums with molten strike deathless with 10K ES.

I have around 650 ES with Split but you can have more. Depends if you want damage (dext) or survivability (ES)

Uhm, I am fine with swapping to MS for shaper, elder, last waves of simulacrum, you know harder endgame bosses, but 90% of the content Id like to be able to use LS and it seems like I can.
Currently I am leveling this using infernal blow just because I felt like trying the hollow palm.
Plan is to use hollow palm til blood aquaduct, swap there and try out howa ^^

IH gives CI 25% ele damage reduction, so to account for that you want around 25% more ES to accomodate. At that point you're taking a comparable amount of ele damage, doing better against physical and have a higher base ES regen and boost to % regen from other sources to help out.

The damage is a little less straight forward to calculate. Chaos damage taps into a commonly lower Chaos res in mobs, so while the base boost looks like a 20% boost it's actually higher depending on the enemy and the res you're up against. Time to jump onto the wiki and into PoB if you want to do detailed figures there.

You can get 12% int and 6% all attributes on a Regalia, which is a significant boost to both offense and defense. How much that translates into damage will depend on gearing. If you've anything with damage per int rolls double dipping with the added flat damage it'd give would help. Whether you end up ahead or behind on the damage isn't straightforward, you'd need to PoB for that one.

Biggest downside is that instead of the 2-3ex price tag you're looking at +10ex and potentially significantly more depending on rolls. Throw in a few hundred chromes to get your offcolouring done (dropping Damage on Full Life for Awakened Lightning Pen works, so 4R2B probably the one to aim for ahead of 5R1B). The losing of the light mods is a more subjective thing. Be sure to test out a map or lab without IH before committing, just in case.

Personally just waiting for Hillock to drop enough veil'd armour to unlock the 6% craft to make the switch over. Sitting on a sliver away from it for well over a week, just a lack of play time and Hillock going into hiding on me holding it off.

Ball Lightning doesn't Chain. Worth swapping that out for GMP to boost your sustain.

Haven't tried Atziri's Reflection myself, but if you're finding your damage on the low side worth trying a move to double HOWA. Unless you're pushing block and going for a Hardcore build I can't imagine it being worth the damage loss there based on feedback of a couple of folk who have tried it.

The use of a second Discipline and portal is eating up a lot of gem sockets. Currently you've no gap traversing movement skill, no curse, no exposure with Wave of Conviction and limited sustain from your Ball Lightning. None of them essential, but all helpful quality of life or straight up damage boosts. Personally I'd be sticking AP/Flame Dash/Blood Rage in the mainhand and then CWDT+Wave of Conviction+Ball Lightning+GMP in the boots. Subjective calls there, but you can definitely upgrade from Portal and 2nd Discipline.

(Personally I'd go with swapping the l21 Discipline for the Vaal Discipline, big damage is normally predictable so the added regen on demand from VD would be my preferred option ahead of the small level boost... but that's subjective there. Ultimately you'd hope to upgrade to a 21 VD. With either choice, D or VD, I'd certainly only run the one)

Something to improve survivability is to include a cast on hit(lv1)/ball lightning(lv1)/chain(lv1) into the build. Ball lightning hits every 150ms. Many run GMP but that 150ms cooldown is shared by all projectiles so you don't get any benefit out of that. If you use chain, you get triple the amount of energy shield per hit as if you use GMP.

Waiting currency to run a lvl 21 vaal discipline gem actually(double corrupt). then i will take CWDT + wave of conviction unstead of cullling strike on boot.

There is already a curse on hit on my gloves.

And i push lvl 100 this league, so for the moment i keep Atziri for my lack of element res and the curse immunity. Also It have a nice INT stat, still lower than a second HOWA, ofc.

Nope.

If you go back a few pages you'll see a few of us discussing it. You can't chain or fork with BL, so GMP is normally your best option there with Slower Projectiles a decent option for bosses. Mistaken update in the guide, needs a further update.



Didn't spot the curse on hit on the gloves. Super. Means you'd be giving up less going for a higher sustain setup with GMP.
Has anyone tried the Disorienting Display notable? It should work with MS and the blind is nice, but I didn't really notice it popping up when I used it. Is it worth the extra two points if it works? Couldn't find another source of Blind in the build.

Yes I use a cluster jewel with the blind mod. Surrounding mobs are blind at least 50% of the time. Also the blind works as an aura emanating out of your character as you move which is pretty nice.
