I was thinking about replacing skitterbots for herald of thunder + circle of regret synthesised topaz ring that gives:

Increased % INT
Int
Lightning Damage
Herald of Thunder increased buff effect
Increased lightning damage while affected by Herald of Thunder

My first league so I don't exactly know how to path of building to check if this would be better, and I half dont even really know the use of skitterbots lol would love some input if this is a good replacement or if skitterbots is vital for this build.

Thanks

It's a very interesting idea, however i think it would be difficult to set it up, for the same reason we cannot much use call of the brotherhood. We have already so many uniques than most of the time we need our two ring slots to get massive resistances on them (unless we use rares gloves instead shapers's touch, but then we loose much attack speed). Also to get the ring you described with + % int is pretty tricky. In the end, not sure if the damage gain is worth it, since you loose the shock + chill effect of skitterbots.

If you use snowstorm on a cluster jewel you can have "gain 10% lightning damage as extra cold damage against chilled enemies", and skitter bots can reliably chill them

Okay makes sense, thanks for the reply and the snowstorm suggestion :)

Guys, i think about start this build, at least meybe i found build to more max then 10ex :D....

Guys tell me, how many currency for start? I farming on blight map it is very boring but it pays off. Build is good in farming Delirium? You can obtain easly at least 5/3/1 on normal map w/o delirium mod?

This build is not cheap, I think I started mine with around 50ex and now my gear is around 150 ex (maybe more)

And yes, the delirium farm is really good (at least sufficient for me, as I'm farming around 40/60 splinter per map and got a record of 91 splinter on one map)

this is a T16 map with 4 sextant & 3 fragment + 1 elder scarab.

And I'm clearing all content with ease as well (Sirus A8 is a joke, same for shaper as I can literally facetank the beam without losing 1hp)

Is lightning strike annoying sometimes? I remember back in the day even the smallest rock in the map could full stop the projectiles.
Also, I know I am asking alot and its completely fine for you to say no, but I'd love to see a video of a simulacrum clear with lightning strike, if thats something you do at all, just to see how it goes.
Im thinking about leveling this now, curious as how simulacrum is with lightning strike, and also what my stats should be to comfortably do deathless simulacrums as Ive gathered around 5k shards on a character that I cannot do them deathless on, around 8k ES or so should be enough?

In my opinion we don't need lightning strike for Simulacrum. Just Awakener Ancestral feels great for sustain and clear cause of small location layouts.

thats good to know, but what if, for some ungodly reason, I didnt feel like playing Molten strike all the time, and felt like doing content as lightnign strike, could I? or is it not adviced?

For simulacrum i use frostblade, it's really strong but if you are not completly geared you want to switch to molten strike for the few last waves (for the bosses), because frostblade single target is pretty low.

For maps frostblade is extremely good as well (i prefer it than lightning
strike) but it requires to have better gear for the same result.

okay, I might just have to try for myself, just need to see how the clear is with molten strike and such tbh
Only thing im scared of is, I like having a nice enough clear to get legion freed and do blight and such and ive never been comfortably able to do that on a melee so yeah,

I use both Lightning Strike and Molten strike in Simulacrum, usually lightning strike for waves 1 to 18 and molten wave 19/20 because the damage is way better with Molten. I'll try record a simulacrum using it soon.

And yes, lightning strike projectiles stills stop at the first thing they hit so sometimes it's not great but I find it better to farm on map as the range of the spell is bigger. + I just like to change the skills I'm using.

But on boss, Molten is king.

Thanks for video, that really helpful what build looks like.
But in this 50 exalts, you mean it's 10 ex for Watcher Eye. Okey 10 ex be not bad to start.... :P

Glad it could help.

From what I remember, I spend something like 2.5ex for body armour 6 link (white gems myself), 14ex on watcher eye, 2ex on boots, 100c for helmet (then I bought mine for 14ex after because of the molten enchant but it's not mandatory to begin the build), 1 ex for the necklace. Then I had 5 or 6 INT/ES split for around 6ex each, 3 or 4 INT/STR at 3/4 ex each, and 3/4 INT/DEX for 40chaos each.

You can just focus on getting int/dex split at first as they are relatively cheap and give you huge damage thanks to HOWA. your energy shield will be relatively low (around 8K or so I believe) but it is sufficient to clear most content if you're paying attention. I think Watcher eye is the mandatory thing to have since you're gaining so much ES regen thanks to it.

Then I upgrade with awakened gems, better necklace, better ring, better helmet, better HOWA (corrupted with AS) for around 100ex or more.

Ok i spend my 10 +/- exalts, on build.
Only 6,5k es and 2,2k int, 220k tooltip on molten, and 308k on lightning. This build is so fucking amazing, at least 6,5k ES but i don't feel squshy(i use fenumus atm) and i see, build have mega capabilities to maxing.

I only not sure Molten or Lightning, i test both and for molten i need to buy skill effect if i want to play it and play it strangely, but second vaal lightning strike is mega..... small room, breach, alira just on click and poff, perma full ES.

Ok let's go farm uber enchant. At least i do something with my offering stash

Oh and i use purity of elements becouse don't cap resist :D. But i bought mega amulet with -27% mana reservation on Discpline

Yes but you don't have 1% damage per 15 intel which is huge on this build as you can figure why.

But at least you have a lot of room to improve your build.

Ye, you have right but it's 50c vs 10 ex. I had only one choice. First to buy Watcher Eye to swap boots. More upgrade later :)
Lancel, do you have a rough treshold for energy shield, int or damage you should be at for comfortably doing simulacrums for instance?
Just so I know what to aim for, roughly
