Attack speed is crazy! No troubles with ignite, since DEX is higher than STR and Cyclopean ignite immunity wont work?

Didn't notice any issues with ignite! All my deaths were to "big slam oneshot" or delirium explosions type of damage. Of course It's not like I die a lot but my ES could be a little bit higher.

Also Sirus AL:8 is down! Fight took about 5min and I died 2 times, only because wanted to check If I can tank awakened form beam with my ES (no I can't)

Thanks for the amazing build guide OP, I dropped a ES on hit watcher's eye and was looking for a tanky build to make around it. Some thoughts below:

I leveled the character as mainly ES and it got smoother once you get double Hand of Thought and Motion with Astramentis and some Naught jewels. A little bit of investment just for leveling but definitely helps ease the process.

Also love the people who mentioned about Ball Lightning & GMP; it definitely adds to the tankiness.

Was finally able to beat a 100% delirium Shaper Guardian map (Phoenix). None of my prior builds got even close as survivability & damage were just not enough.

Awakened Ancestral Call is HUGE. It actually felt bad to take it off and swapping with inspiration for bosses (does anyone else feel that way?) It gives great range and the extra balls just give increased survivability for ES on hit.

I also noticed some of you opted to not take Point Blank - is it not worth it ?

will scion with crafted cannot be frozen boot be a better choice?

I can't really see why it would be. We're already passing through Scion area anyway.

And in terms of ascendancy, Jugg just fits so well with the build. Ascendant would be like a dollar menu version.

I just got AAC and got the same question. I'm still wearing bum gear so switching to Inspiration is my only option (w/o it i cant sometimes even outdamage metamorphs). Hope as I'll stack more INT it'll become unnecessary.

Can you even tank Alvl8 Sirus with any amount of ES? I just tried to kill him for mechanics learning on Alvl 2 and his slams and beams were still hurting me badly, on higher Alvl it'll be certain death. This pushed me to try your setup with no INT/ES Splits, just INT/DEX ones and so far it's pretty awesome.

I tried also double HOWA for the first time. I was wearing a shield to stack some ES, but all that Splits got me covered and all that changes buffed dmg like x1,5, I'm super satisfied, thanks to everyone in this thread!

Just leaving my thanks for the build guide. Leveling the char, even with hollow palm, was a nightmare. Now that I got some gear rolling it's just amazing.

Btw, I don't even think that taking more than 2x Int/ES splits (for the last cluster jewel slots) is worth it. The rest of my Splits are Int/Dex and the Dex provides a solid amount of attackspeed (1400 dex atm). I lose around 100+ dex per split that i want to swap with Int/ES which translates to 5% atk speed loss.
Even with only 2 int/es splits I have 14k es and I don't think I'd need more than 11k tbh, it's just quality of life traded in for dmg.

Something to improve survivability is to include a cast on hit(lv1)/ball lightning(lv1)/chain(lv1) into the build. Ball lightning hits every 150ms. Many run GMP but that 150ms cooldown is shared by all projectiles so you don't get any benefit out of that. If you use chain, you get triple the amount of energy shield per hit as if you use GMP.
(here to showcase how borderline broken ball-lightning + chain is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-i5cFOGPdo, that is me doing absolutely nothing but standing there. Puts into perspective why the watcher's eye with ES on hit is so expensive)

Also, while most of the awakened gems don't really make too much of a difference, awakened ancestrall call is an exception since it targets 3 additional enemies instead of 2 - big survivability (and mapping speed) boost.

In the end I swapped multistrike out for lightning pen for mapping (easier coloring and it feels a bit better imo).

Thx for sharing Ball Lightning setup! Added to @Interesting Idea@ section

The correct idea is CWDT(lv1)/Ball Lightning(lv1)/GMP(lv1) though, not chain as I stated initially since chain doesn't work with the ball lightning arcs as I thought sadly, however it's still a huge survivability boost for me.

Couple questions since POB not importing cluster jewels correctly - you have that much ES mainly through having high ES on your Vaal Regalia? Since what point do you think trading Inc. Heart for Vaal regalia is beneficial?

P.S. Not having a trouble with ignite since your DEX higher than STR?

In pob you can just edit the splits to have the exact values as you have ingame, then you can calculate your int and energyshield for upgrades aswell.

Since we have so much increased energyshield - due to our int stacking - every bit of flat es is super efficient. I calculated my "maximum, against elemental damage" ehp simply by multiplying my current energyshield by 1.25 (since IH converts 25% of ele to chaos). That's the maximum life we have if we get hit by elemental damage, however does nothing against phys attacks. If you get a vaal regalia you should atleast have 1.25x(current Energyshield) after the upgrade if you want atleast have the same survivability against elemental damage as before (still 1.25x better against phys). However you also take bigger hits against elemental damage so your time to recover the lost energyshield should be considered aswell (basically only against bosses because in groups you almost instant leech anyways). What you gain though is another 12% increased intelligence and a nice headroom against big physical attacks.

Ok guys, next question is Do we really need Awakened gems? Sirus Alvl 6 dropped me an Awakened Ele Focus and 1% increased ele dmg seems not so big difference...

When you're min maxing like crazy and running out of options to upgrade, at 20# quality and max level it's 54# more and 20% increased so adds up compared to the 49% more and 10% increased of ele focus.

Relative to improving your other gear slots and getting to a stronger base so you've something to min max on?

I'd have it sold already and be trying to invest it back into the build in places I'd get way more bang for my buck.

Also a nice boost to ES regen from the bigger ES base. Helps a lot when it comes to sustaining.
