Would it be worth to push the Betrayal Atlas passives in SSF so you have a chance to get the trigger craft a bit faster or is this not really important/ efficient?
Never played the build before and don't know how important the trigger craft is, in terms of progression :)

The trigger craft is really quality of life, most monsters will die quickly without EE and on bosses you can cast storm brand/frostbomb/oos manually.
That being said, it is a really nice QOL boost lol.

ascendancy changes make it very tempting to take vile bastion (finally). and to drop profane bloom while still having malediction. honestly with that kind of dps, I if i really wanted clear speed, i'd go back to my favourite boom boom wand - obliteration. just swap swap. i agree about high end, it frees up neck from requiring chayula's presence.
Pretty sure this is the way to go, yeah. That being said, we lost a bit of clear in terms of explosion, lost a bit of dps, but the overall quality of life gets higher and the build is perfectly viable.
I´ll do this eigher as a leauge-starter or as a secondary pick up to min-max and end the league on, depending on the Patch nodes. 12mio dps on that is definately enough to clear all content. Final decision if it will be starter or finisher will be decided after patch nodes today.

The builds sounds pretty fitting for SSF and at least the last two GGG infos about the ascendancy changes and balancing didnt hurt this build to much (only at the highend were @roseland and @donbrawler chipped in with some first infos and numbers).
Going to be running this for my first SSF experience as well, getting pretty pumped. Did a practice level and it's super smooth leveling which is nice.

Related to EE, is there another viable trigger setup that would work with fire skills? I would be playing a good bit of co-op with a friend playing Arc and I wasn't sure if EE would be possible to run in this setup as cleanly as it can work with Storm Brand/Orb of Storms.

That was my thought, but I was unsure if it would tick fast enough that it would create enough uptime of the buff compared to the hits of the cold abilities themselves, since I know OoS/SB tick insanely fast.

With the Ascendancy buffs, Harvest and apparently all of the targeted remove crafts from harvest being implemented. I can guarantee you should get 9-12Mil DPS in the League with just one Medium Cluster Jewel and Min Maxed Harvest crafted gear.
targeted craft are not been removed. Bex confirm it on Reddit. the only crafts removed was the life force ones
My bad I worded that incorrectly. I did mean the targeted remove craft is coming back. which is gonna be sick for crafting Vortex gear :)
