1. Hello to all of the new players coming in this week. This is the most exciting week of PoE for me each league. Welcome! 2. For the new posters that are praising the aura stacker nerfs. You must be new and uninformed. The nerfs to aura stacker and cluster jewels hurt Occultist too!! Most of us who min max this build use notables like stalwart commander. Hopefully with the buffs Occultist got it balances out. Not to happy with the cluster jewel nerfs.

I'm hoping the cluster nerf isn't too steep of a tragedy, it seemed like an expensive yet really juicy way of scaling this build. I'm really looking forward to this patch though, Vortex seems great for Ritual and the new boss fights.

" If I remove 2 of my 6 nodes 35% inc effect medium clusters (I just replaced them with normal cobalt jewels), I lose around 28% of my dps and 10% of my ES. So I go from 20m dps to 14.5m and from 10k es to 9k. Other adjacent auras will suffer too (dread banner, flesh and stone, vitality, clarity and aspect of the spider). Note that this is with standard luxury gear. In league I would be really amazed If I can reach 10m dps (which, for vortex, is pretty damn massive). I plan on 6m dps with excellent league gear. For the rest you need +2 corruption on your shavronne, double/triple eye. Hope is that harvest will allow us to craft top gear, and the new maven orb might bring us some crazy stuff too. |
