[3.11] Aquarism's Ice Shot [All Content]

Day 3 results: going to finish 4th lab now, getting chain. single target is fine after getting tabula. for bow, a rare crit base bow is better than death harp after a certain point, around level 60 or when you hit maps. Can't afford anything expensive yet, clearing yellow maps comfortably.

Ok I don't know what's wrong but my dps still feels pretty weak with all these items. Could it be the gem links?



The rings are also just temporary, I'll be upgrading them soon. Any thoughts on what's the best 5 link gem setup? Then I can also start upgrading/buying better gems. I don't think I'll be getting a 6link armor or weapon any time soon, too expensive XD.

for clear you can drop gmp if you have +1 arrow ascendency and opus, for chain or fork.

single-target swap cold pen for inspiration perhaps, you could try elemental focus too, though you need to drop hypothermia and wont be able to freeze anymore.

get rid of omen on the winds since you have chain now.

edit: just realised you have +1 frenzy gloves, cant really calculate without your pob, but icebite will give your more added cold damage at this point.

"Don't do league mechanics while leveling" WHAT? WHY? I always do and have played different variation of ice shot for years and have done the league mechanics again this time. Weird thing to say right in the beginning of a guide.

That being said, build seems solid so far and I like the diagram that you have about how chain works, nice.

Assuming you are always on full life and have full frenzy, then links should be Barrage - Damge on full life - ele with attacks - ice bite - inspiration, 6l can be hypothermia.

I'm really struggling with this build; this is my first character and I'm struggling to do boss damage during the levelling process (Act 9) and am often getting one-shot frequently. Not sure how to make myself more survivable but might just consider rerolling tbh.

Get a better bow, you can buy a death harp, this will last you well into yellow maps, then use a rare crit base bow.

You should have at least 1 5l if you are in act 9

Omen on the winds is not activated.

You are not resist capped

you have only done lab

simply no need to because we dont plan on getting hit, if we do get hit we have instant life flask to get to full hp, also decent life leech from soul raker.

You have very nice gear already, focus on getting a shaped ring with curse on hit, mark of the elder and pandemonious, upgrade slowly as you will lose hp and resist.
