Just got molten shell and realised you cannot use it and bone armour at the same time.
People who are running molten shell have you changed ascendancy or are you keeping bone barrier and not using skill?

You need to read the full guide. We are using VAAL molten shell. The normal version isa joke, and nearly no one uses it.




I think i found my sweetspot in terms of gear and skilltree.

Current gear:





With this setup i achive 5.6k Life, around 55% armor and the damage from my minions went through the roof.
This is a endgame setup, nothing of this was cheap (execpt the gloves) But you can basically run beefy T16 maps without much issue.

Mana and resistances are a pain to keep up.
I also have only 1040 strength, so it works with the new baron (i wonder how people got to 1200 strength before)

Next step would be a good enchantment on the helmet (-reserved mana determination/pride/purity of elemtents or zombie damage)

Spectre Setup: 1 Host Chieftain - 1 Carnage Chieftain - 1 Undying Evagelist - 1 Diablolist (casts enefeeble)

Update for AG could be a Vixen's Entrapment with a vulnarbility corrupt for double curse setup (expensive)

Ive started this build on leaguestart. Initially followed the guide but now trying to make my own thoughts based on some ideas.

so far iam now on 14 watchstones and the build starts feeling good. i went away from ES and going now into full life. iam far away from optimsed but currently iam relativly satisfied.



just hit a realativly cheap 6 link on my saquals nest with 421 fusings but sold it recently. also hit a lvl4 empower. lucky me.


@those crykids here. Stop whine, cry and attack the OP. If you blind follow a guide without taking current patchnotes, fixes, nerfs into context, then maybe PoE doesnt fit to you.

Following this build right now, feels nice, but... Why do we use Cyclone? It's dps near to nothing. Only for stun immunity? To auto-trigger Offering?

yes, cyclone is a channeling skill so with cast while channeling you activate desecrate and the offering you want to use :) you can alternate offerings for speed clear or damage reduction :)

How can I see the resistances of my zombies?

What aura setup should I use while I wait for my enlighten to level up?

At the moment I'm running pride and hatred, cant use purity of element and banners because all my mana is reserved.
I'm using a 5L Geofry because of no money for saqawal right now, 6L zombie setup on queen's escape and managed to reach 1000 str whit 3 efficient training.

Mapping is slow and sometimes my zombies die, any idea?

About the ascendancy debate.

I have gotten Mindless Aggression, Unnatural Strength, Mistress of Sacrifice and Commander of Darkness.

It makes easier to cap resistances without that much rare gear + I keep both 30% chaos damage (from Spirit offering) AND 30% from Commander of Darkness. AND I can change the gameplay with the other two offerings.

It's just that Bone Barrier seems a lot worse after the nerf.

Also, how mandatory is to run Vaal Molten Shell and do we still use Skitterbots?

Imo this is the dumbest league mechanic since beastiary. If they remove the timer, and scale the incoming damage down I will have np doing it, otherwise its just not worth it for me atm, not for the current rewards anyways.

I mostly adopted to your posted links (gem and passive) and try to get up to your gear so first thanks for that. But i have a question related to summon holy relic. I understand we use it to keep the minions healthy and the regen is also nice on us, but does the "minions cannot taunt enemies" disable our zombies? Wouldn't this kinda negate the 20% chance to taunt on meat shield? While running through Delirium (which i most likely will drop until GGG nerfs it) i sometimes find some big guys chasing my poor necro furiously when convocation is on cd so it feels like the taunt is gone.
Most likely will have to buff up the minions speed also, so that my zombies can keep up with my running or at least with my chasers.
