Oh MAN I have hit the wall hard. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I am getting smoked all of the sudden after finishing act 10. My resists are at cap, mostly, but I just get pwned HARD.
If I could beg a favor, could someone who is smarter than I, look over my character and see what the foxtrot uniform charlie kilo I'm doing wrong, I would appreciate it forever. | |
" I'm ashamed to say that i was using ground slam mechanic wrong. I totally forgot that ground slam does more damage when you are closer to targets. I was way too far away therefor i was doing half the damage. I'm a noob and i am sorry about the post. I asked a moderator to remove it. Thank you! | |

Hey, first of all I wanna say, great guide, detailed yet simple, really helped me starting out in this complex game
I'm now up to yellow maps and dipping my toes in red, but I feel I'm hitting a wall, I keep dying but I'm not sure what parts of my gear I should change https://pastebin.com/WBPk6MA6 Reading a bit of this thread I'm thinking of getting a sporeguard and a ring with warlord's mark, seem pretty powerful I'm on a medium budget, twenty-ish ex, if it helps |

went axes + rt + impale, all the warcry nodes just made this bad boy

" hey friend so your biggest issue is life you have very low flat life, and very low % inc max life on tree unskill stuff like butchery and wrecking ball get more %life devotots, tomb fists, belly, redblades are all very good uniques to get you started, however once you hit late yellows/reds you NEED good rare items with huge flat life and other powerful mods get +70 life on rings and neck consider ryslathas coil belt for dps, its huge for our build. you lose overleech but sometimes killing stuff faster is more powerful then overleech (especially with your low life max) since you have source of intimidate from intimidating cry, tombfists lose their value unless they have + max frenzy charge or a curse on hit etc warlords ring would be strong too overall you just need to get more life | |

So since I wrote that I already got my ryslathas and a warlord ring with 70+ life on it, that has helped quite a lot, I'm now at 5k hp and the utility of the mark is amazing This is what the build looks like https://pastebin.com/pkbwzRc3 I've been playing around a bit in pob already to unspec dmg nodes, this is what I've come up with your input for the tree https://pastebin.com/N2Q6vyDK I do take a pretty big hit in dps, 'bout 200k, but +700 hp with the same gear I'd be allocating berserking directly so I can anoint Discipline and training, it's better than keeping it anointed and getting other life nodes I can reach from what I've seen What mods should I be looking for on rares beside the obvious (life, capped res, attack speed, phys dmg)? |

update on ssf adventure
hitting tier 11-13 red maps, at about 14 watchstones unlocked the goal is to hit sirus awakener 5 and kill him ssf, making this a viable league start build still here is current gear and pob https://pastebin.com/NQzREfrF went impale and rog made me a gg axe so dps has been smooth sitting at 6k hp and capped res and +24% chaos res went defiance but think i will respec to rite of ruin now that i have finished uber lab to get back points for stun immune and more zoom zoom infernal cry replacing seismic cry is very very good, we link it to support such as endurance charge on stun, culling etc for huge QoL. can also link onslaught here to have onslaught for bosses looks like 525k intial impact + 721k aftershock, so about 1.25m dps combust also hits for a nice 70k which allows us to keep up exert procs on infernal cry -> earthquake and warbringer 50% more 6 link is the next obvious upg but no luck so far with div cards. will keep working towards it as i hit t14 reds will update when i kill sirus 5 on ssf :) Last edited by frawrst on Sep 26, 2021, 8:10:21 PM
