Why do you even play Path of Exile nowadays?

I don't, gave up on this league, waiting for next one and playing Grim Dawn with Grimarillion mod in the meantime.

You must be crazy if you think the game was better 1 year ago or even more than that. Powercreep is real sure, but there were always busted builds. The game has just grown so much that we now have dozens of shavs and kaoms dropped each day in Sc. Is this growth bad. No! We always have hc for that old school feel and challenge.

I'm bored. Maybe i'm getting old but alot of games atm right now for PC and what i'm looking for doesn't exist...idk.

I think people are crazy who think the game is better now than before. Power creep completely ruined the whole game’s structure, everything is just getting cheesed with an absurd amount of damage. Hc does not feel old school at all. It s all “oneshot or get oneshotted”, stupid gameplay with no thinking.

Every game doesn't need frustrating mechanics in the name of 'difficulty'. D2 was a fucking faceroll, and well geared chars became near unkillable gods. The fun is in the grind to become a god.

If you want challenge just for the sake of challenge then go play a moba, rts, or fps. There are plenty of games where you can get your dick stomped in by a verbally abusive 10 year old dropout. Nowadays arpgs just don't need half-baked pvp or lazy 'MORE DAMAGE REFLECT YOU DO DAMAGE YOU DIE' mechanics. If you want your level 100 100+ex char to be shit stomped in the name of difficulty then delve deep enough.

Played since 2011, still having fun every league. Starting fresh with new stuff in the game is fun and will probably continue to be fun for me, for at least a month or so every league, even though I dont agree with everything they do.

What i have to add here is that im bored from the game after ~6 weeks after start of a new league and im kinda lazy/bored to play new and new builds because i hate to do the acts that often and i have less stuff to farm/explore since my main char is already ahead and its mostly about to "catch up" and compare each other.

Bicuase I still can. Come 3.6 my upgraded potato might not be able to open the PoE client again.

I don't. I come to the forums once a week to see if anything I care has changed, realize that it hasn't and GGG/PoE is basically a cash grab game now and go back to games I actually enjoy.
