How is Impale with Dread Banner on this build? I see some people run it and some people don't.

I am crrently running Skeletons - Multistrike - Minion Damage - Feeding Frenzy - Melee Physical Damage - Melee Splash/Ruthless.

I like it. It just straight up provides a higher damage threshold. Dread banner isn't necessary to run impale, but it does boost your DPS a bit. Impale calculations aren't in the DPS of original flavor Path of Building but LocalIdentity's fork has it and you can see the number there.

Personally I skip out on Feeding Frenzy in favor of Brutality but I know some people really like their Dashing Skellies which is totally cool. Ruthless is a fine choice but Brutality might do better for you. It's worth checking.

I run Skellies - Minion Damage - Melee Phys - Impale - Brutality - Melee Splash/Multistrike

That's just one option though. Others have been keeping Feeding Frenzy in.

low level CWDT + S/offer >>> ALL

Yeah after testing that's what I conclude too. Disagree with the other guy self casting spirit offering and linking CWDT to Steelskin. Potentially you could add both Spirit Offering and Steel Skin to CWDT but since you're keeping XWDT very low for best use of Spirit Offering your steel skin will be too low to be relevant.

Something about helmets I see people discussing: the +X lvl to socketed minion gems is really not that relevant, test it in PoB it will add very little damage. This is because you're only boosting the small +phys dmg flat that the Carrion golems are adding to skeletons, amd that flat phys is not being multiplied in minion builds as opposed to normal melee builds.
Just focus on getting minion dmg % via bone implicit or minion dmg support prefix (that comes with %minion dmg).
Or obviously some god tier enchant.
And +1 skelly!

Yeah, gone back to CWDT setup :)

Also, agree fully with the thoughts on helmets.
Has anyone gotten +1 skelli gem rare boots yet with bound fossils? Did you do pristine, bound, shuddering?

Wait I think I misread poedb, this is only for spectre?

I'm wondering about the difference between amulets with +1 to skeletons vs +1 to level of all intelligens gems. On my setup +1 to intelligens gems is about a 10% boost to skeleton damage. On the other hand you're loosing a skeleton, which maybe amounts to about the same total damage (maybe little less). But +1 to skeletons is very common while +1 to intelligens is really expensive.

This also made me wonder about skeleton crowding around bosses. 40 skeletons can't do damage at the same time on one boss hence the reason why vaal skeletons isn't that useful in boss fights. But do all "regular" skeletons do damage at the same time on one boss? Maybe a reason why +1 to intelligens is better vs +1 to skeletons. Still feel +1 to skeletons is way better bang for the buck.

Hi guys just wanna ask a question, why are people crafting "trigger a socketed spell when you use a skill" ? I there any specifics on why people are crafting those on the minion wands?

A lot of people use that to trigger Offerings either Spirit or Flesh.

Thanks, i will give both version a try.
But i run atm 2 x 5L and later 2x 6L
Staff + Body. In the Staff there are skelis and in the body are the zombis. What would be a goud setup for zombies? Like in the other pure zombies threads?

I guess it depends on how valuable that is for you. I don't have them but some people REALLY want it.
Hello there, and thanks for the build. First time playing a pet build and it's rocking way better than I anticipated.

I'm taking it slow right now, I want to enjoy the trip. I'm using 4L boots with +2 to socketed minions gems as my dps setup at the moment (Skel - Minion Damage - Impale - Splash), no luck with the fusings on my body armor.
Still kicking ass in t13 maps without much trouble though :)

Anyway, I was looking at the talents since I love tinkering theses, and I was wondering why no one was talking about "Grave Intentions".
I may be missing something but that wheel seems pretty good to me. Lots of resists for the pets, especially chaos, and basically a 10% more modifier on pets' life. I don't know about the Unholy Might proc, I didn't really pay attention to it for the time beeing but I guess it doesn't hurt to have it.

Also, I saw someone talking about using the Pain Attunement node for the doryani jewel instead of Resolute Technique and I imagine that Grave Intention would be even better in this setting since it would only require 3pts since you're already passing by.

Any thought on that ?
