Witch - [3.9] Pure Phys Skeletons & Friends Necromancer — Beginner/SSF/Budget Build - Forum

Very nice build , 850k shaper damage with melee splash per skelly , goes upto 1.4m with multistrike. Will probably get +1spell and +1 minion wands next , they cost 10exmin for a meaningfull upgrade tho ... hell might as well gear 2 characters with that currency ^^. For me that's nowhere near as reactive as a CWDT setup. If found myself dying when I would never die in a low lvl CWDT setup, as this is super reactive in my experience and triggers straight as I start to take damage, whether I sense it clming or not lol. Also uptime is 100% so I don't need to cast it manually to ensure it's up for the dxtra chaos damage or as preventive ES buffer. The enfeeble is not that useful I think, feel free to use that socket otherwise. On the sword I use feeding frenzy purely to give the skeletons an aggressive AI. The sword is the fast easy clearing setup. Having crazy angry super fast running skeletons from the second I summon them is cool. Ruthless and no Brutality cause of the extra chaos damage from Spirit Offering. There could be an argument that brutality raises dps from the first strike though, while ruthless would take 3 strike on the same target to be great, not necessarily ideal for the clearing setup. To get the corrupted blood implicit on To Dust I just bought it as is. Personally I just threw Steelskin lv 19 on a CWDT setup, swapped out brutality and flesh offering for ruthless and spirit offering. I feel like it's a nice defensive layer on top of Bone Armor, don't have to juggle offerings anymore, minions get the chaos damage bonus from the offering as well as some ES and I get a good chunk of ES I can pop whenever I feel like. I bougth a helmet, but can´t put the + 1 minion on it. What does the helmet must have, to put in on? I need a frei prefix, if i am right. But all items can have only 3 prefix and at the market i see only items with 3 or more prefix, Can someony show me for what i have to look? Thanks a lot. Potentially you could add both Spirit Offering and Steel Skin to CWDT but since you're keeping XWDT very low for best use of Spirit Offering your steel skin will be too low to be relevant. Something about helmets I see people discussing: the +X lvl to socketed minion gems is really not that relevant, test it in PoB it will add very little damage. This is because you're only boosting the small +phys dmg flat that the Carrion golems are adding to skeletons, amd that flat phys is not being multiplied in minion builds as opposed to normal melee builds. Just focus on getting minion dmg % via bone implicit or minion dmg support prefix (that comes with %minion dmg). Or obviously some god tier enchant. And +1 skelly!
