The Lioneye's Watch wants some PvP clips

I did notice you are hardly getting fun, but believe me we do. There is some stuff I also avoid to play, like EA, but I do like zerphi. The build turned out to be very op, but I still find good competition, not just lib with a better version, but more traditional stuff like mines or wand barrage can get me in an even fight, which is really rare.

I quickly used a clip in this week; but I just want community PvP clips to help intrigue and show off parts of the community. It can be some high end, some jank builds but its purpose is without context to intrigue someone to take a look.

I'd be kind of honest about PVP if I were you; it's a more fun activity than just mob-slaying and map-clearing all the time, but it's in an uneven state right now, so "player beware" sorta.

For those of us who don't understand AoE overlap or T-Values... then again, if we're janky, how could we?

PT reaches out to the PvPers, and we're all too busy tripping over each other to step up.

Granted, as markusz and others in this thread have stated, it's definitely GGG's fault that balance problems have run rampant, and for so long (earliest I can remember are puncture traps, since I've only been in for a few years). Even PvE, ostensibly GGG's focus, is catching the balance flu with the clearspeed meta from the past few leagues.

But it still stands that we haven't governed ourselves effectively. I thought The Blonde Brigade was a decent attempt at creating a balanced game mode (since GGG won't do it for us), but it hasn't broken into the mainstream. PT offering some phat streamer coverage might be the chance we need to break out of this funk of cross-accusatory pessimism and really create a PvP community, balanced around private streamed 3v3s (as opposed to Sarn Arena wasteland), as opposed to a toxic shitfest. It'd be MOBAS with more build diversity.

But maybe I'm just being overly optimistic.

I've entertained the idea of having a PVP community member or more being on a podcast and addressing pvp balance issues and shit, but given how things go on the forums, I can't imagine it turning out too well. Though I would say part of the reason for such animosity on the forums is due to GGG's lack of balancing pvp. They put in more effort editing and removing posts on the pvp forums than doing their fucking job and making their game as good as possible.
