" Let's be real here, the only buff i saw that led to tremendous damage upscale is ascendancy. Other than that i've been eating nerfs over and over again and it still continues. Now that people have a counter to crit in order to reduce incoming damage by lot why dont they fix secondary damage and adjust t-values ?... Vortex and HOT will still cheese this game hard, Hideyourcurrency still have a long glory time ahead.
All this chest will do is put back EA on top and maybe fuck low tier LA/caster builds... Cant wait to see what secondary damage skills the top pvper will abuse next. " use bear traps vs hide, you can trap him to a point forever, ever and ever and forever. for the best, HoT builds has to be done with juggernaut, imho. also, this chest would fuck T1 builds more than low budget builds. T damage formula is almost preventing getting further damage after 6-6.5k average per hit which is only doable if you are not Vhlad. Now there is much less difference between 400 pdps bow vs Brood twine. I'm happy about this chest. I really liked the design too. After shavs, this is probably one of the best item designs in game. also we can say, EA and bear trap are getting(keeping) T1 at the moment. im not sure about the rest. I believe nothing can stop bear trap now. i was time to time be able to waste lapiz' bear traps with my own bear traps and punish his initiations with long range seeking blast rain mines. im not sure whether i can one shot anymore. we'll see. LA is dead since pathfinder discovered by pvp community(rumi flasks did a comeback) and people started to invest to get 160-170+ movespeed. secondary damage or whatever, LA is almost useless at the moment(thats why it is so popular now) there are some try hards like rlowe, using the same 20ex build which gets countered with just swapping to dream fragments ring since... i dont know... too many years. for them the build might be looking still OP. that doesnt mean LA is in a good shape now. only secondary damage which are still kickin ass are EA and KB i think. if they ever fix frost wall(which i hope they will in future), KB would be totally useless(due to lack of mid range and point blank distance answer), and LA would be only offscreen utility skill to keep area control. i cant recall anything else than these skills that has good secondary damages right now. note: dont underestimate bows too, cause skills like barrage can get very deadly when the damage output for everyone gets lowered thanks to that chest. barrage has the craziest damage in the game with crit or without crit. the problem about barrage was cwdt flame dash gets out of control vs aoe skills and dot skills dont proc flame dash, so it gets very hard to focus fire. " Noob question, this is bad for fire build just because it cancel ignite + fire pen right? So if other guy have something similar to elemental penetration instead of fire penetration (like hierophant helm) won t the talisman have no effect on the dps if the damage is not used for ignite?
