No I could never make it past the second hall. Barely ever beat one hall.

Most players take the "canoot be leech from" node so it's like running into a fight naked. Without leech, he can't stand his ground. You will paste most of them when you can leech off of one, but with damage scaling on PvP you leech less and will be worn down. Potting does almost nothing in Hall of Grandmasters with my build. PvP is exceedingly specialized. Dual Striker is PvE exclusive.

EDIT: Never did Dual Striker with Voidheart in Hall. Betting he'd be more effective than when I played over 1 year ago, but with damage of those players it's still nuts. Totem would insta-die anyway. Not betting luck would hold.

EDIT 2: In normal PvP with regular PvE kids just goofing around though my dual striker insta-gibs almost everyone. But all it takes is one guy who knows what he's doing in PvP to wreck my dude. Hope this helps. Did a bunch of PvP but dual strike just isn't .... cut.... for it.... lol

No I discussed this with Rogue, and we both agree it's a no-go. Not being able to cast auras, defensive and offensive spells kills any benefit of the melee phys on the chest. It's not a great piece to begin with except for the life which can be had on any rare hybrid life chest now

If you only have access to a 6% block Bringer of Rain, is it worth using? Or should you just go for the extra links with a 6l chest?

Bringer of Rain does limit gem setup and requires a little more thought with gear purchases and socket color organization. It's mainly the budget helm these days, since 6L prices dropped dramatically and 150+ life rare chests will be eliminating the need for Belly altogether. You'll have to compromise some to make it work with what gear you have or go 6L chest. Unless you have legacy, bringer of rain is not really what people go for anymore with my endgame dual striker though it's been done for Shaper.

I maintain this build because long, long ago I was a sad banana and needed a game to play that cost nothing to play but consumed my empty life in a very, very horrible period I don't care to talk more about. This game was it. This thread is for all those sad bananas who aren't smart enough to make their own dual strikers. This is for you bananas. Pride is weakness.

Umbra thank you for taking the time to re-organise the thread, I have been following this for a while now. The subtle changes you have done with the consolidating the main page are great, I for one was able to follow and get a lot of benefit from it.

Thanks for your guide and the time you put into it. Same goes for Soup & Rogue.

I was a Sunder Marauder and once a professional level 90 Voidhome Groundslam Hulk Smash Stun Memer with 8 APS because I love smashing things many times a second, but then I found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-eVGExx-gI&feature=youtu.be

It was at that moment I knew... I fucked up. There is no research required to realize that cutting things 15x/second is better and more fun than smashing things 8x/second. It's faster and more visceral, and there is no need to stun if everything you touch just explodes lol.

Luckily 3.0 came out so I used the respec, grabbed my legacy Bringer along with the jewelry and belt I already had, dropped the 2h mace and invested all my chaos into budget versions of Soul Taker, a rare offhand Axe, Rubi's and a Might and Influence for the bruthless 8L helm setup. I have just picked up the game again and am still working on a lot of improvements but so far I am super happy with the build. It seemingly destroys everything with ease and I am having a blast. Running 3 auras though not necessary feels OP too.

Many Marauders talk about "Sunder meta" but unless I have bad info, they are good in maps but cannot seem to clear UA/UL/Shaper that well, whereas a well refined Dual Stiker can destroy high level maps and all bosses with insanely fun attack speed. Easy choice for me.

PS. Don't worry about the QQ in this thread too much. Even if the formatting may not have been min/maxed, your build has and that is what counts. It should be in everyone's interest that you, Soup & Rogue spent most time on testing and optimizing the build rather than making the results look pretty.

PPS. Guys, give Umbra a break here. Do you want to read perfectly formatted guides and show disrespect on the internet or be little wolfs who bleed too yet die neither? Exactly.

TLDR: Awesome build and video (including choice of music), too much ungratefulness in this thread, no worries about formatting, 15 APS Dual Striker 4 life.
