GGGs reasoning on not making a SFL?

People, theres already RoS if u ike SFL, almost everything useful is bound, u cant longer trade like u should, and guess what, ladder is coming back to D3, too bad I already tossed it to the toilet.

Really, u can play SF anytime u like, theres this thing in the chat that mutes all the spam, uncheck general, trade, dont party, be unsocial ingame like u already are irl = success.
Power and responsibility :P

I tend to think that people who like to RMT would rather play in leagues where they can RMT single items or currency whenever they want instead of having to buy whole accounts. But whatever, they would still have to play self found after getting the account and I don't think that loser cheats would like to play that way very long even if they bought an account.

You underestimate the RMT market and the people who want to e brag.

In a SFL, someone links a Mirror, you all think he found it i guess, he could just as well have bought an account with a mirror already bot farmed for.

Your example reflects your comprehension of the subject.

Wow! He got a mirror, every SFL supporters wet dream right?

You should've quit posting nonsense under every SFL thread long time ago, but I guess you gave a promise to yourself to derail every one of them.

Anyway, continue, you make me more tolerant to noises.

I think that hardcore leagues are a waste of server power. 95% of all hc chars end up merged with standard leagues anyways. Plus, if anyone wants to play hc, they could always simply delete their character in standard. Of coarse they could continue playing the character as well after the char rips once just like they do now if that is their preference. Really the option already exists in standard league to play hc. Hc is only a play-style. I does not warrant a separate league. So, really there is no reason to have hc at all.

Think of the different league options that could be used in place of the pointless and unnecessary hc portion in Poe. Lets not waste server storage and service on options that can already be done in standard. All it takes is a little bit of willpower. Just erase that bad boy as soon as you rip. That's hc. You don't need some childish ladder ranking for it any more than the self-found players need one.

The fact is, there are hc leagues in PoE, and that sfl doesnt exist. They are not equivalent.

My guess would be:

SFL equals no RMT.
The only benefit I can REALLY see is having a ladder.

I dunno if it's been mentioned over the course of the colossal thread; but it would be relatively easy to create a ladder in standard whereby your entry in the ladder is removed after you have traded - with anybody (not including NPC's).

You can still party up; give people things in your party (guild stashes, dropping on the floor) but you can't trade.

Simples!
