So basically you can only get Thief's Torment and Lori's Lantern by using chance orbs on crafted prismatics? Since prismatics no longer drop, neither will magic, rare and unique prismatics right?
I am very excited about the rest of the notes tho, they sound awesome like always!

On a legacy Bringer of Rain item, a Divine will reroll the Maximum Life, but not the level of the supports.
This leaves me wondering.. Will legacy Bringer of Rain have its support gem levels automatically modified? As in, how "legacy" Sadima's were automatically bumped to level 11?

if you had 80% cast speed bonus before you totem would have
(1.8-.3) = 1.5 50% cast speed bonus
now it will have
(1.8)*(1-.3) = 1.26 26% cast speed bonus
if you have 0% cast speed its exactly the same as before. So the more cast speed you have, the more this change affects you.
Can anyone provide actual numbers?
but even so, with this nerf you dont want cast speed on your gear since its useless and shafted, and playing with totems you want cast speed to deploy totems as fast as posible.
No matter how you look at it it is utter shit decision.
First, the match isn't wrong. Second, Totems use your stats, so cast speed on equipment is not useless. Third, spell and elemental damage nodes throughout the tree have been increased. With the damage increases, and without having access to the tree to do any calculations, you have no idea whether the totem cast/attack speed change is a nerf or not.
Lets say you have 80% increased cast speed.
Lets say totem support gem has 50% reduced cast speed and since 1.1 its multiplicative.
Even pre-school child can say that now you have 40% increased cast speed.

Marauder Passive Skilltree changes .... I hope it does not get too worse for my character - you knows?
Also a question to life leech changes:
When I use a weapon with a life leech support gem and also use leech abilities from the passive tree - then only the stronger life leech works? (weapon OR ability - not both?)
lool... and Claw with 3% leech and 3x 4%lifeleech nodes...
you know what i mean... when you leech with 500 dmg and then with 800dmg.. you you leech with 800dmg / ll

Fixed bugs with font keming.
I laughed at this. Purposeful misspelling for a clever play on the word kerning?

Chris has stated in the thread regarding ending of challenge leagues that Lori and TT will still drop.

Uniques roll based on the Item Type before the Base Type, so my guess is Thief's Torment would still be able to drop, unless GGG specifically prevents it.
Example: Unique Maps. They drop in non-Map Zones even though some are above Map Level 66. This is because when a Map drops, it first rolls the Rarity, and then the Base. So if it rolls as a Unique, it then rolls the Base out of the possible Uniques.

Wow. RIP to all new players, you won't be able to do much of ANYTHING compared to older ones.
I cannot fathom what GGG expect to achieve with all the legacy-creation. As older players get ever more stronger and farther ahead, just what do new players have a chance to get? Shafted? Again and again each time you "improve" and "balance" the game?
If you want to remove something, or change anything, the ONLY way it can be appropriate is if its across the board and applies equally to everyone. Making it a first-come-first-serve heaven for the oldest members of the community totally trounces all the newcomers. I don't have all the answers as to how you would keep those oldest members happy, but I can promise you: new ones will be completely put-off to learn they will never be able to afford the most useful version of items they want for builds they want to make (unless they resort to RMT, which is supposedly prohibited). Why play then? The only logical course is to quit and find something else (or, as mentioned, RMT).
I am not gonna even bother trying out new builds in standard anymore; its a fucking cesspit of untenable unfairness. I hope no one else does either, and standard just dies off like the cancer that it's becoming. Maybe then there will be some newbie-friendly changes for once, one can hope.
--- of course, I'm assuming legacy items continue to exist as they have been...they may not, in which my rant is misplaced ---
+1 they dont care about new players same goes with pvp buffin es/ek/rf builds even more
I agree, as long as legacy exists. Then you cannot effectively balance the game entirely. It's more like putting a band-aid on a open wound.
