first impression, too much fun over all... NOT. after 10 years, i wont be challanged in the acts.. make the endgame harder but keep the acts as they where.
a great change would be to start lvling with maps from start on, for ppl who have seen the acts a thousand times. in my opinion its a great fail over all, let ur playerbase test changes like this befor releas
" +1 If you want to make the game harder, then make it harder for the meta farmers, not for the ordinary gamers, who want just to chill with enough level of challenge. If you are saying that your game should be challenging for the players, then you should reward them, not just make the game harder with the same rewards. Because I do not want to try hard for 10 minutes on the yellow map to earn some alts and alchs, spending more for the preparations
You should work on the support gems. What you have done defies any logic! For example, the impale can be removed from the game altogether. He now gives nothing at all. The same can be said about other gems of a similar type. I'm sure that your company is not testing the final product. Maybe you should think about it? Just return the old stats to the support gems! Meanwhile, in steam fell online to a peak of 70k, and an average of 40-50k, but ggg did not understand that you just need to roll back the nerfs of the support gems ...

Getting killed more than usual. The encounters are cool once you figure them out. Best news of the day was fixing the flasks. I spam them a lot. This is the first league where I've done evry one of them just because. Great job guys.

Not sure this still counts as a first impression:
I restarted PoE with the Ultimatum league, got hooked fast, read a lot, tried out several builds and played a lot (too much). I spent money on stashes (I am basically immune to pixel crack in all MMOs I play). Got my highest char to 94. I then went on a RL vacation, which actually felt like a detox, and decided to uninstall. A mix of burnout and certain features that I despised enough to outweigh the fun aspects of PoE for me. These features are: - XP-loss on death combined with oneshots makes me play too defensively. I finally settled on the most defensive build that I could halfway afford and still had the occasional oneshot. Which admittedly pissed me off every time it happens. - The trade system is the worst I have ever seen. Mind you, my go-to MMOs are ESO and an UO freeshards ... two games with "inefficient" trade systems, but both much preferred to PoE. It took me weeks to even participate in trade, started with just buying. It took more weeks to start selling. Really, please :P In the end, though, the frantic playstyle that PoE forces probably just isn't for me. Good luck for the future. Over and out...
You have ruined the game. I always had so much fun playing, now playability its crap. The game should have better content. I want to have fun, not find harder and harder content. You are about to lose 80% of the game player base.

And i quit playing too.

first impression? uninstalling, never supporting again.
game not rewarding as a solo player, progression is not there. i play such games to make a strong character and become strong and unstoppable godlike mega gnar. Btw, i need support now ggg. You gonna pay my bill? No? How comes? Last edited by loldatgame on Jul 28, 2021, 4:10:04 PM

The longer I play the more frustrated I get with the league mechanics.
I'm getting realy tired of being a pixel off from being able to place an explosive where I want it. Why is there no visual indication of where I can place my explosive? Also why can I only place my next explosive relative to my last placed explosive? (at least I assume that's what's happening, can't say for sure due to aforementioned lack of visual aid.) It should be relative to any explosive i've placed I feel like. Overall it feels very tedious and fiddly. |

I tried two builds, a toxic rain build and a triple heard blade vortex one.
After leveling my pathfinder, I tried some maps and was being one-shot constantly. I thought because of the her dodge, it was just one of those builds - most of the time you don’t get hit, but when you do, you die. I then leveled the witch and, boy how wrong I was. I should’ve read other people’s feedback first, but I thought with more health, I’d be safer, but nope. Being constantly one shot by stuff I couldn’t even see coming doesn’t feel good, and I’m going T1 maps. I can’t even imagine how it will be in T15 maps and beyond. I haven’t played all the leagues like some people, but I remember that there wasn’t a difficulty spike from act 10 and T1 maps. I could just do the maps and keep leveling and completing my atlas. And around lvl 90 things would be more difficult, where I’d have to be careful not to lose XP. Now, every boss can one shot either build. I hope things change in the next league. |
