Storm Call

Storm call is a funny skill, but I really think it's not a good skill for some reasons, despite many people think that this one is one of the strongest lightning skill:
1) low damage. Shock nova has already much more damage than storm call
2) despite it is not a top dps skill, we have the wait time before the skill hit enemies
3) moreover we are forced to use "less duration" support that gives only 20%more damage (compared with other support gems is too low)
In the other hand we have sone pro such as good cast speed, good aoe, but it's not sufficient. My idea is that this skill need a damage improvement. In this way can be justified its "wait time"
Pretty fun with spell cascade and spell echo, however it is ruining my fps (it is fine with just spell echo).

Small question but when is the crit rolled?
Once for each marker or only when the lightning strikes (one roll for all the markers)?
still seems really laggy over many leagues,
could maybe use a touchup like old perandus mobs.
This gem seems to be most unused skill in delve league, it's a really bad skill for now. It should be buffed imo.
Perhaps slow enemies under it before detonation, and/or inflict a debuff (stacking up to a cap) on hit that makes enemies take more damage from Storm Call?

Sort of along similar lines, I was thinking of each marker/strike that's part of the same 'storm' dealing X% more damage than the previous. So yeah, a stacking debuff (+damage taken or -lightning resistance) would be another way to go. I'd have the markers apply the debuff, and have the lightning strike part of the skill remove it.

Because for me at least, the point is to encourage people to embrace the delayed-multiple-casts aspect of the skill, rather than minimising the duration. Not that there's anything wrong with building the skill that way, it should be perfectly valid, but I think a little more could be done to also promote "building up the storm", since that's basically what's unique about Storm Call - there's no shortage of other skills naturally suited to minimal-delay rapid-damage casting.

I have a Question, can you make Stormcall to interact like (frostbolt and Vortex?)

Funktion Idea 1:
If a stormcall is placed (the marker), chaining skills will (every 0.1/15 second(if necessary)) create on hit, an aditional stormcall marker, (stromcall with same stats)
so the first Duration would make more sense for me and doesnt even require a "Less Duration Support".

It would be maby a nice interaction with the skill and would be make it more effective used as a second support for a main skill.

Funktion Idea 2:
If stormcall is placed and the chains from attacks and spells (with the gemtag "Chain" can not be used by just projectile skills/bowskills(with no "chain" gem tag))
and the Chaining end from the second skill used (not stormcall)
stormcall would be released without the Duration Penalty.
or after the second attack / spell

Storm call is auto casting at my location instead of the enemies location, when using it with Kitava's Thirst triggered effect.
