R.I.P. Righteous Fire

2% elemental equilibrium + 4 purity + 8 Rise of the Phoenix + 75 base = 89
ALL LIFE NODES AND VITALITY = 8.9 life regen per second.

That unique created by some diamond who liked Righteous Fire is now absolutely fucking useless junk. Righteous fire will permanently be unsustainable.

Not only that, but life node nerfs, and life nerf in general.

As hard as it was to amass 12k hp, that only yielded 6kdps from RF due to 50% max life damage to minions (while 100% to yourself, always silly)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

tl;dr: GGG just to an absolutely massive dump on anyone who used Righteous Fire in any way.

Keep on truckin'!
Don't forgot you will have less life, it's mean less life consumed by RF ;)

I have made my own calcul for my Dual Spark and it will still work after this patch.

The only unknown is the ES nodes nerf for me.
If it's a total of 500 it will be tricky but if it's 200 or 300 it should be acceptable.

RF high hp is already a bad build... why complain, 6k dps in small area close to you are you kidding?

RF was made to give huge spell dmg boost at a risk.

For a life based build, the amount of health you have is irrelevant to sustaining the burn. It is going to burn for 100% of your HP no matter how much you have, regen and resists scale with any amount of HP you have. The problem is we no longer have enough resistances to counter the burn damage even with every life regen node from the tree + vitality + inner force.

Initial statement: Unsustainable due to Elemental Equilibrium nerf
Backup statement: as if it weren't enough, lack of Kaoms and nerf to passive nodes = less damage from RF.
Hi guys,

Please do not derail this thread with off topic or hostile remarks. Please also refrain from abusing other players.

"a bloo bloo a bloo, you casual high hp RF is shitty"

I'm not an elitist jerk trying to copy paste the same boring builds everyone uses.

I found using RF as main damage source, dare I say it?, FUN. As subpar as it was, I enjoyed it. This build is no longer an option. WAY TO ENCOURAGE BUILD DIVERSITY!

This game like most other f2ps will end up having a small casual community

Dota 2, League of Legends.

Now go away troll.

You basically named the only 2 F2P games that are the exception(and fundamentally different), as apposed to the literally thousands of others that prove the original statement correct. Who's the troll?

Patch notes look good/interesting, but kind of sad to see little to nothing has been done to the growing list of skills that are pretty much useless, especially ones that have been useless for like a year. Obligatory desync comment.

I really appreciate the feedback, but it'd be more meaningful if given after you've had a chance to try your characters under the substantially different 0.11.0 balance.

So we should settle down on feedback, because obviously no one has played the patch yet, but you want us to give you money if we like the patch? Either way, you shouldn't be begging. People know how to purchase coins. Do you not pay attention to the rest of gaming and how much heat companies get for posting crap like that?

Dude, I am agreeing with you. I am just saying that less life being consumed for his ES build has nothing to do with the high Hp build.
GGG, Do you play your own game?

Do you have any idea whatsoever of the major difference between 6% base crit and 4%?
The difference is huge. We're talking the difference between 30% and 10%.

Bye bye 20 characters.

Sporker = trashed

ROA = trashed

Pulser = trashed

Pretty much everything else? trashed.

Is this GGG's attempt at forcing everyone to play a Melee in order to test the new mechanics?

So the only builds we are going to see are: LA/split, Melee, Discharge?

Cool.

Judging things before you've even seen how big the changes are.

Sporker - You crit less, big deal. Still will do high damage.

ROA - Get accuracy on your gear, it's easy to hit 90%+ chance to hit.

Pulser - Damage reduction will likely not be massive.

Everything else - Buffed.

6% -> 4% = 30% -> 20%

You crit less, big deal. There are tons of spell crit nodes and since you won't need to invest as much into Life nodes you will be able to pick up more crit anyway.

Except Righteous Fire, which can go sit and play in the corner with the rest of the worthless skill gems that nobody uses.
