Issue here isn't crit + shock stacking correlation.

Issue here is as simple as can be. Shock is a broken mechanic.

A) Redo it with a different effect.
B) Remove stacking, 40% increased damage is already silly as fuck.
C) Lower the numbers SUBSTANTIALLY

I'd personally chose A>B>C in order of preference. Then again, not my game!

with the changes to the reward for the Bandit quest on Cruel (where Krait now gives 8% increased attack speed) will players that have already made their choice be given the option to revisit these quest and change our decision? 8% increased attack speed for a lot of specs are WAY better than just 1 passive node.

Would really appreciate an answer on this one!

Other than that, the patch looks really good. I can't even begin to imagine how much work that has gone into all that. Good work to you and all your developers.

I read that this will be possible eventually but will not be available in this patch. So for now we will have to make due and in the future we will be able to redo the bandit quests.

What does "+20 es for spirit raker" mean. 20 base ES? (that's completely useless). 20 flat ES on hit? That's crazy op.

Judging things before you've even seen how big the changes are.
Being a theory crafter, All I need are numbers.
Sporker - You crit less, big deal. Still will do high damage.
Crit WAS the strength of this build. Chance to shock on hit + crit are what shocked everything reliably. Without reliable shock, you have killed spark totems.
ROA - Get accuracy on your gear, it's easy to hit 90%+ chance to hit.
So I'm just supposed to eat all the exalts I spent on gear without accuracy? And then spend MORE exalts on gear that I will never use on another build? Classy.
Pulser - Damage reduction will likely not be massive.
Pulsers already need every single damage point they can get, due to freeze pulse being a low damage skill. People who arnt using RF/LL pulsers are going to be destroyed.
Everything else - Buffed.



This is quite obviously a patch that intends everyone to roll a melee for testing purposes.

You didn't get any numbers, you got "Freezing Pulse damage has been reduced."

You go from 30% to 20% crit, wow your whole build is trashed. Seriously, pick up more crit nodes or get better gear. You can already shock reliably with how often Spark hits.

Yes. This is how the game goes. Beta is beta, things change. If you can't deal with that, don't play a game in beta.

Are you kidding? Freezing Pulse has higher damage than most other cold spells.
