Content Update 0.5.0 — Path of Exile 2: Return of the Ancients

Nerfing Ancestral Bond the day before the launch, so so so lame... I am never complaining and take the game as is, gosh, in poe 1 I am even trying to make a Gladiator dual wielding swords work without complaining.

I don't want to make a lengthy post about all the absurdity packed in the current state of the BETA, because it's a BETA and nobody likes lengthy post. So in short :
WHY ?
It's a beta, if a skill is a little too strong, who cares ? Broken builds are all over the place, so why kill a key feature of Ancestral Bond's rework ??? CoC Comet is still a thing, uberOP spears builds are still there, blue life got a good kick but life armour received no love.

A strong idea was put in place, something strong but in a niche context, and instead of dealing with what needs attention GGG ridicule the team who had to guts to make a bold move in the patch, so lame =( (I would not believe it if the team that made the rework is the one who nerfed it)

1. it's wrong and 2. you completely miss the point. He threw bait and GGG took it while completely missing the fact that the issue is that they nerfed builds that did not require any input... He said "GGG, you like removing fun, here is some fun you missed and broken shit you left untouched" and GGG said "Damn, we missed some fun, let's remove it fast ! Nice shit btw !". WTFH ?

I'm so sad, that I contemplate installing PoE2 through Steam just to leave a review =/

I am in a guild where we have many good players.

By the time I can gear normal support, all my friends don't need me anymore, so rarity was the only way for us to rally and play together.

If you want to nerf rarity, that's not the way.

remove modifiers from gear, keep it only on uniques.

That way, rarity bots will need to use Andvari rings, which are risky for them at the beginning.


Okay, I am just salty, as one of my ways to play with friends just got broken.

Like usual, you do you and we shall see where it takes us.

still love the game, just a little less now.

He's right other support build are pointless tbh, so it was only way to make sense for team play. Ask steam to remove co-op form tags at this point.

It's good that totems were nerfed, it was literally a braindead mechanic that shouldn't be in the game, just like minions, but they seem to have been buffed.

To be fair, the change to the gloves was more attacking botters running 6 accounts then it was to group play. If you want to hate on someone, hate on people doing RMT with aura bots in group play to corner the market and make real money.

Group play still exists, you can still play with friends, you still have bonuses from playing together.

But botters and RMTers ruined those gloves, not GGG.

Its so funny.
I dont even play with friends normally in this game or POE1 just because the DOWNSIDE is too strong... having x-times more dmg and hp on monsters but nearly zero extra loot its pointless to play together.

We got as three ppl more loot playing solo than playing together... (tbh because no one of us want to play a stupid bot ... i am happy, that leechers / bots are nerfed to the death... nobody need that... play the game and gid gud.)
