Give Solo Players a Fair Chance
" You're being dismissive again of the concept of trade and how balance on things influences the game for people who play trade. I can flip this around and say you're torturing yourself with the mindset that you have to grind for gear yourself in ssf instead of trading, or someone playing hardcore is doing the same by having to make a new character simply because they got a random one shot from a mob It doesn't matter, at the end of the day it's just how someone enjoys playing the game, and it's not just a small minority of people min maxing the grind of div per hour. There's a good reason the top meta builds exist and are the most played, and also a good reason why people spend tens of hours building a temple with 70+ rooms even though it's so tedious I myself don't play like that and get most my gear and divs from crafting and trading, it's how I enjoy playing the game. But that doesn't mean the problem with leechers don't exist Take delirium fog as an example from before 0.4. Ask any trade player and they will most likely tell you that they ran juiced delirium waystones even though the fog was pure pain and everyone hated it, not to mention the very tedious process of crafting those waystones and how long it took We had an entire year of people running that and absolutely hating their maps looking like a grey mess. GGG removed it, as they should, because it was a problem even if you yourself don't care about it and think people doing this kind of min max are torturing themselves Last edited by iHiems#0168 on May 7, 2026, 2:28:02 PM

How do you still not get it? The early-game economy in this game collapses because so many cheaters are multiboxing with six accounts.
For regular players like us, once the economy crashes a few days into the league, we can’t buy the gear we want at reasonable prices anymore (unless you’re an RMT player), while our own loot income stays extremely low. Some people think party loot bonuses don’t matter, or that cheaters will eventually get banned so none of this is a big deal. But wouldn’t the best solution be to nerf party rewards instead? A 6-player party giving 10x rewards is one thing, but it should never be 30x. | |

If you are a true solo player, then you would not compare yourself to what group players are doing and achieving somewhere in the world. Infact it seems like you are really complaning about trading prices/economy as caused by those tryhard groups. There will always be those kinds of players, Play the game, dont worry about others. Comparison is a thief of joy.

" It doesn't give 30x rewards. And the times have moved on from simple multiboxing. People use bots that auto loot and return the currency and loot filtered items to the stash 24/7, on multiple accounts at the same time, then log into each of those accounts manually and list the good bases or other items they allowed through the loot filter for sale. It's not difficult to see, just spend some time searching the in-game trade and you'll see an awful lot of characters with asdkhg789 random names selling a lot of similar items. That's also how the RMT markets are fed. With older multiboxing party benefits were the reason for it. They'd have dummy accounts that they grouped with to increase that one real player's loot. With full botting that isn't how it works. The party currency and loot boosts for a 6 man party don't add up to 100% of what 6 accounts could find doing the same content solo. Botters make more money with each bot running solo. The only people taking advantage of the party bonus are those paying leechers less than they make from them being there to stand and do nothing in places like the temple. And that's small potatoes compared to the gigantic RMT market fueled by pure botting. |

we need a "player x command" like we have in diablo 2

"I think the OP makes a great point. Those who claim that party loot has no impact on the economy either haven't been paying attention to the game's economic system or have a vested interest. The simplest solution is instanced loot combined with removing the party quantity/rarity bonus entirely. This way, no one is negatively affected, and it could even boost players' motivation to group up. People who just want to play with friends wouldn't be affected, and when grouping with strangers you wouldn't have to be constantly on guard. You also wouldn't have to worry about those who abuse the party system to farm currency. |

Do you really understand the team drop mechanism? Excluding the temple gameplay, how many Divine Orb drops can you get in one day? Let me tell you that when six people team up to clear the abyss, at least 1,000 Divine Orb will drop in a day, not to mention other valuable equipment.
