Just a reminder, please remove the team loot bonus in version 0.5.

But without the bots to farm currency for the RMT folk to sell to the streamers so they can make videos on "crafting" and uber gear the streamers will stop playing and then there will be no one to tell 90% of the players how to make a character.

WTF? Are you serious?

It's the PoE Circle of Lif... err... Orbs.

There is this really cool mode called SSF. I suggest try it. I did and now I don't bother with anything else
Some thoughts from a casual player:

I divided players into 4 groups:
1) Casual solo players, who plays 1-3 hour per day.
2) Casual groups of 2-3 players, who play 1-3 hour per day.
3) Professional solo players.
4) Professional groups with rarity and auras (and possibly with bots). Who play non stop.

At the moment, the first two groups can't keep up with the last group. 3rd group doing well. 4th group can ruin economy.

My opinion: playing in a group should provide an advantage in loot quantity, but not in rarity. I would say rarity should be calculated based on the player who did the most damage. The goal is to reduce the effectiveness of a rarity bot or a rarity bot with a culling strike.

Secondly, reduce the rarity and item drop for accounts that play more than 8 hours a day. The penalty applies also applies to the party. The average person won't farm 24 hours a day in the largest group possible. It's, difficult to say how else to limit the parties of farmers who are ruining the economy.

And optionally, provide an additional bonus to rarity and loot quantity for players who play infrequently. Propably for 10-15 map per day in solo / 2-3 ppl party.

It would also be nice to implement the ability to use low-level currency for something usefull. For example, Orbs of Transmutation, Orbs of Augmentation, and Exalted Orbs become useless very quickly, leading to their devaluation.

Problem is, a party can breach rarity threshold to "divine rain mode" without temple as well. Thanks to trade abuses, party div/mirror drops worth more than what 6 solo players can farm in a week (even assuming solos manage to convert all trash loot to currency).

Second problem is, a party should not have any inherent advantages at all, regardless of how bad/buggy the loot system is (rarity stacking specifically). Not a person's fault they don't have 5 nolifer friends willing to grind poe every day.

Solo players should have same farming opportunities as group players, meaning separate loot generation for each party member is required, no rarity bots and no other peer-to-peer MF stacking in any form.

This isn't even a fix. Letting other people enter juiced content is a massive advantage with the amount of juicing PoE games are gonna have.

The only fix left is splitting trade into solo and multiplayer. It'd probably be healthy for the economy too, because it's a pretty clean split and we'll get an influx of players at launch that are going to fuck with the economy anyway.

Dude, at weekends I usually play 14h or more daily.
Also... exploiter would just trade acc and ip address (vpn maybe, idk how it works)...
Even if there is no additional loot bonus for teaming up, players who enjoy teaming up will still do so.

Even when there is additional loot for teaming up, players who enjoy playing solo will still do so.

Adding trade into SSF will be a solution. Let's see how GGG handle this.
